Great Location for Dinner and drinks or for just relaxing a bit during the day :) Prices are relatively low/medium with 290 LKR for a coke as an example. We came here 3 days in a row and where always greeted by the owner :) Very nice guy who likes to have a chat and share great stories about the region. In our book this is a great place to visit :) just check it out yourselfs….

Although the location is nice, the owner welcomes you at the arrival and at the departure, waiters are very kind and they pay attention to the client, the food is not what it should be. Prices are a little bit high but when you go to a restaurant you are interested about the food and this is what they need to improve.

Had the worst 3 veggie curries here in Sri Lanka ever. 3 types of beans, asked for medium spicy, not spicy at all, not salted so had to ask for extra salt, no gravy in the curries. Not even dal! Tasted like Thai food. On top of that, 10% service charge for bad food? Also way to pricey.
The food it self was not disgusting by any means, the combination of lack of proper curries and the high price this is a strong 1 star review. If the owner was inviting me for a free 3 vegetarian curry that actually is good I can change my review.
Place was fine but I can do better curries than this, sad to say but waste of money.
I have had local 5 vegetarian curries for 350 Rs that is way more flavourful, this was about 1900 Rs. Litterally throwing money in the toilet.

My wife and I decided to try Kura Place Restaurant as it was opposite to our accommodation. We were greeted with friendly staff and prompt service. The food was delicious and the portion size was just right. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant as a Sri Lankan who is visiting from living abroad.

Well guys... Our experience.. Easy to find it. No problem.. Restaurant is clean and tidy - true. Guys r friendly but here is one serious issue. English language.. If is possible have ready to use some dictionary or b with someone who speak sinhal.

After two Weeks in sri lanka, this was our worst resutrant experience...the chicken was very dry and tasted like a Shoe, so the lucky dog got all our chicken. For what we got the price was absolutly to much...
