We were staying at the Holiday Inn nearby and noticed Krua’s beautiful beach seating with trees and great selections on the menu. We also noticed some bad reviews but decided to try Krua Bophut and form our own opinion and we are thrilled we did. Krua had several vegetarian options that I could chose from and they were happy to customize any dish and make without meat. Our food was delicious, the presentation was amazing and menu reasonably priced for the location. We also enjoyed wine and beer. The service was fantastic with all servers working as a team. They were very attentive and we never had to flag someone down when we needed something. The atmosphere and beach seating was the best we experienced in Fisherman’s village. We dined at many nearby restaurants during our stay and Krua was by far our favorite dinner spot. We also recommended Krua to others we met during various tours on Samui. Thanks to Krua staff and chef’s for a great dinner.

We really liked the place. The service and the food are really good, and the place is really beautiful. We don’t understand the bad ratings. We really think that if you want to live “The Thai experience”, you need to look for random street food places (after forgetting your occidental hygienic standards…). But if you want to enjoy Thai food with good service, in a clean and beautiful environment, suitable for all kind of occidental people, I think this place is outstanding and relaxing. The price for sure, is not going to be comparable to a street food place in a random corner, but anyway I think is more than adequate.

Went there to have a dinner on the beach, and got a dinner on the beach. Nice venue and view. Staff efficient. Food was ok, we liked the green curry and tempura shrimps. Didn’t taste that different from a Thai restaurant in Europe. Touristy prices.

We were looking forward to here and it was just Ok. Just. The food was good. The service not so good.
The food was well presented. We had asked for our food to be Thai spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all.
We sat out the back on the sandy beach area - it was so pretty to look at but was boiling, no fans in sight and we felt like we were being crawled over and bitten.
When we paid the bill the waitress came back with the change and said ‘this is for me yes?’ And just took all the change. At a 30% tip that felt very presumptuous and it wasn’t delivered well by her or received well by us.
We wouldn’t go back to this restaurant.

The atmosphere was good, I particularly liked the interior design. The place was clean, a little hot inside. Which we should’ve picked the outside. However, the food had barely made my standard of Thailand’s authentic food. We ordered a soup and a red curry, which tasted almost identical. We had to ask the waitress to confirm which was which. The shrimp and vegetables were standard. It’s more suitable for mass tourist visits, but I would have recommended other places to other people.
A fantastic dining experience on Bophut beach! It was our last evening in Thailand, and we saved Krua Bophut for last - it did not disappoint. Food was delicious! Recommend trying to get there before sunset as the fire show next door can make it a bit smokey.

Group of ten. Sat down on the beach which was great location. Very close to the daily fire shows without the loud music involved. The food was good, but pricy. Down side is that there are no fans so can get very hot and humid if there's no breeze.
Staff was very nice, but less attentive when the restaurant was full.
