This diner has been in business for over 100 years, yet offers casual, affordable, and delicious Okinawan soba.
The soba is, of course, handmade, but noodles are made in the traditional way, using wood ashes from the firewood.
The broth is made from soki (pork ribs) and bonito for a robust flavor that you will want to drink to the last drop!
If you are staying in northern Okinawa, we highly recommend stopping by this diner.
You must pay in cash in advance, purchase your meal ticket first, and present it to the restaurant.

Food was very average, definitely aimed at tourists. We decided to try it our as we were in the neighborhood and we saw the rating. If you want a simple noodles with a. "Soso" taste then this is your spot!
Pay at the door with a machine and sit down, wait wasn't too long even being rather packed inside (about a 15-20) minute wait.

I arrived at 11:45 and ordered from the vending machine. I ordered one large and one small Okinawa soba, and added rice. The large Okinawa soba is 850 yen, and the small one is 750 yen. Rice is 300 yen. In several places I ate okini and soba, but this one was the best

The best Okinawa soba I have ever ate. They had three sizes which is really convenient. The meat was soo soft and sweet, the soup was also really good! I would recommend this to anybody, I’d like to try the juyushi next time! The only downfall is that it is far from where I live 😅
