I recently visited Khanom Pia Soi 9, a hidden gem in a residential area of Trang. The bakery offers a delightful variety of pastries with unique fillings including flavors like taro & salted egg, red bean & salted egg, green tea & salted egg, etc. The staff's generosity stood out as they offered a freshly baked whole pastry for testing. The pastries were not only delicious but also reasonably priced at 10 for 150 Thai Baht. Despite its location off the main street, the abundance of parking lots makes it easily accessible. During my visit, only one flavor remained, a testament to its popularity. Highly recommended for both Trang locals and those passing through. Such great pastries. I went at 3:30, an hour before they closed, and they only had one box of durian filling pastries left, and then only taro other than that. They gave me a whole taro pastry to sample though (maybe because it was close to closing?), and I bought a box of these to take with me. Amazing prices as well. A nation wide famous bakery popular for its mouthwatering pastries. I recommend to visit early in the morning is that get sold out too quickly. We arrived there in the afternoon with pastries all gone but the staff were kind enough to hand out their last batch. We got the taro stuffed puff with sesame seeds freshly baked from the oven and it was amazing! While you’re there take a picture with the street art of Trang right by the bakery shop.

Very delicious pastry. Although we read about free tasting but did not expect a piece each. As they are freshly made and has a shorter shelllife, we could buy only get a box each but they were super generous to offer extra 2 pieces ontop of each box and devoured them 30mins later at a nice cafe. Yummy. Must try!

Most famous & fresly baked best flaky piah from Trang! Owner is very friendly & generous & rushed out with a tray of warm piah for us to try before buying. Its something that you cannot miss if you’re in Trang ! Especially the Yam filling with salted egg yolk.

The most famous shop in Trang for puffs and pies and for a good reason! Their stuff is delicious and they let you try everything for free and then you can buy what you want. Family owned business that the owners really love what they do. Highly recommended!

Fabulous shop and experience! Owner is so friendly and explains everything and gives you samples to try. Good location and ample parking even restrooms available. Pastries are to die for and made fresh throughout the day. If there is something specific you want, order ahead. Highly recommend
