Karibu Coffee is hands down the BEST coffee shop in Arusha. It's super chill, and the owner and staff are so kind. Most people don't like going to Usa Plaza because TRA is in the same building, but let me tell you: Don't skip out on visiting Karibu Coffee because of TRA! **LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!!** You deserve to have yummy coffee and delicious food. They don't bother you anyway. Did I mention they have chicken and waffles?! IN TANZANIA!! What!?! Not only is it available, but it's sooooo delicious. Legit the best place for American food, but also soul food. Anyway, the only thing they're missing is wifi, but once they get that, Usa River is going to be POPPIN'!
Karibu Coffee is a beautiful cafe. It is peaceful and well-lit with natural sunlight, making it a perfect place to get work done and feel inspired by the beautiful artwork on the walls. The staff will connect you with the owner if you are interested in purchasing (the owner is so sweet and helpful). Save your appetite for the Soul Food meal, it was a slice of home that I didn’t know I needed. I'm happy to have found this gem in Arusha!
I eat at Karibu coffee quite often with my wife or I go get our food. We usually get the soul food plate or chicken n waffle breakfast. But I have been wanting chili for some time now and when they advertise chili ?I had to try it, and I was not disappointed. The chili n cornbread is excellent and I have another one with rice for later.i can't wait for my wife to try it also

On the way back to Dar we stopped by the beautiful Karibu Coffee! A friend recommended the place and boy were we glad he did. The Cafe is beautifully decorated and very chill. The young man who served us was so great. I appreciate him. My husband ordered a Butterscotch Latte. I drank it almost all of it. It was the best coffee we’ve had in Tanzania! We also ordered dinner. Fried Chicken, Greens, Cornbread, Yams, and Macaroni. The Mac stole the show…We ordered two additional pieces to take with us. They warmed up great in the oven. I would say that the greens needed salt but everything else was great! Thank you for bringing a taste of home to Tanzania. Also we were with a friend from Tanzania, he slapped the table when he tasted the macaroni 😂😂

I Went here with the family. We had lunch and drinks. It was very friendly and kind. Even without electricity (such a terrible appalling Electric Company TANESCO causing problems for 1000's of hard working people trying to feed their family's. GET IT SORTED) Karibu Coffee managed to produce lunch and fresh coffee. Thanks Joseph

We met the owner and she was very pleasant it was refreshing to have great service and great energy and the other restaurant employees were also very pleasant and the food was incredible very good tasting food,soul food that is.
