I didn't try any of the food, but the moderately lower prices are a HUGE relief when a cup of coffee at the city center costs as much as $4 compared to the $1 here. The owner is a pretty chill guy who used to go to college in Burlington. He seems to run the whole place himself. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Forget the bad reviews, the food is amazing and the price is just right. I'm gonna go ahead and suggest that the bad reviews have ulterior motivations. The new owner is amazing and is doing an excellent job. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Since the ownership change the store has gone downhill. I used to get a chicken salad sub and it had fresh chicken in it....I went to get the same which I thought would be similar, was I wrong....it was chicken in a can. Disgusting! And charged over $ 10 for a small. I also missed being able to by homemade salad to go. Don't think I'll visit again. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Amazing and large deli sandwiches, friendly staff, fair pricing. Fantastic tucked away spot for lunch. Edit: this place has really gone downhill in the past few years in food quality. Quantity, price, store cleanliness, staff friendliness is all about the same. The deli is not what it used to be. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Used to frequent this place before they changed ownership - it has gone downhill fast. It’s clear they are trying to squeeze as much money out of everything they can; their sub-par food quality and quantity reflect that. Now they are the kind of business to have Arizona cans that say 99 cent but they charge $1.30 for them at the register. You’re better off spending your money elsewhere.

Very satisfied with the food, service and prices. Worth the stop to check them out. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I was dropping my son off at UVM and really felt like a veggie sub before the long drive home. I like to use mom and pop small businesses, so thought I'd give Kampus Kitchen a go. My first impression was positive; it seemed quite busy so I thought it had to be a decent place. I had 2 problems with the sandwiches: 1. the sandwich was pretty poor, with very dry "powdery" bread (best way I can describe it and it tasted old). The veggies used were OK, but not many of them, and after asking for a veggie sub with "every veg in it" I was sort of expecting a wider variety of veggies in there. It was pretty much lettuce, tomato and cheese. It just wasn't that flavorsome. I don't think there was any dressing or condiment in there. On the positive, the size of the sub was fine for a large size. 2. for 2 large veggie sandwiches and a small coffee, it came to $28. I struggle with this as a criticism and I don't know the usual cost of sandwiches in Burlington, but based on Subway prices, this seemed a little excessive. Additionally, even Subway veggie sandwiches have been far more tasty. Anyway to be clear, I didn't factor the price into the rating as I truly don't know the costs in Burlington, Vt. and want to give benefit of the doubt. However I did base the rating purely on the sandwiches and the taste and quality. I can't recommend this place, and will try other places in the Burlington for a sandwich next time.
I pathetically buy a breakfast sandwich (and sometimes lunch as well) through Uber Eats from them at least three times a week. Their food is always consistent, delicious, and makes my tummy happy. I’ve never ordered a bad thing before. Would recommend any day 10/10. :)
