Note: this review is based on the cooking class we took here. We really enjoyed the class. We love to cook Asian food at home so many of the techniques weren’t new to us. However, the use of herbs and spices was very interesting, and there were a couple of techniques that were new to us that we will be taking home to our kitchen. When you arrive for your class you’ll be asked to choose which dishes you want to prepare from a list of options. For two people you can each choose whichever starter and main you wish to prepare, and choose a single dessert to prepare and share. For our starters we chose Spicy Beef Salad and Spicy Shrimp Salad. For our mains we chose Lok Lak Beef and Amok Fish. For our dessert we chose Pumpkin Custard. We enjoyed every minute of the teaching and food prep experience, and with guidance we prepared a very tasty, very generous feast. Total cost Riel 80K/person (CDN $27) - well worth the price. I can highly recommend the cooking lesson. 20 dollars is very reasonable since you cook starter, main and dessert. It's a lot of fun and the staff is super friendly 👍👍 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We did the cooking class and it was an amazing experience. Each person can choose what they would like to cook. The staff is very knowledgeable and the food is outstanding. Not to mention the portions are so big it's it's great value and a must when visiting kampot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a great find. This (mostly) seafood restaurant has an extensive menu and specialises in kampot pepper seasoning. It was great to have a tiny pestle & mortar with two types of kampot pepper to mash yourself. My seafood platter was excellent and great value. Ate here 2 nights in a row whilst staying in kampot. Tried both seafood and western dishes, both of which were delicious (the steak was particularly good). Great service and value for money. I booked a cooking class here not knowing that it would be a private cooking class! I really learned a lot and the food in the end was delicious. Saroun, the chef teacher, was really kind, she let me do everything myself and she was very knowledgeable. Everything was really clean and sanitized as well and very organised. I already did a lot of cooking classes all over the world and this one was one of the best!

Came for late lunch. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Ordered the tomyum seafood and it was super delicious! They were so generous with so many prawns, and really fresh and yummy! Portion was big. Very good price for the standard of the restaurant. The kampot brewed beer was yummy too. Highly recommend this restaurant! Fabulous , really polished service , unusual in Cambodia. Well chosen interior design. Scallop starter not overwhelming but the house made baguette was truly authentically French and the Confit duck leg with pepper sauce sublime.
