Great sushi, and one of the few places nowadays that has great raw salmon sushi. Nigiri pieces and rolls were great, good size as well. My colleague had the ramen which looked amazing and he confirmed that it was. They didn't accept card payments but I think that was a temporary issue. Love this amazing little place in Bålsta! We had a lovely dinner with friends tonight. Not only does the sushi look incredible, it tastes so good and we appreciated the good friendly service. Will definitely come and support again. Keep up the great work!

The food looks pretty fancy and tastes good. Only problem is that I learned you're supposed to eat rolls in one bite but these rolls are impossibly huge, probably twice what I could fit in my mouth.... the seaweed used is very tough and chewy so trying to take bites results in the whole thing falling apart and making a huge mess. If I could make one wish it would be that the same amount of food be used to make more rolls per platter.... Not a problem if you're eating with a knife and fork but wouldn't be the same experience. Sushi is fresh and delicious! Best I’ve had in all of Europe! Love the atmosphere, the quick and friendly service and the dedication and effort put into the food. Unbelievably good Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 300–400
Quite good taste for Ramen, sushi had good bite size. Expectation was not high but it was fine. Maybe a bit pricy but lunch menu seemed OK. (we ordered other than lunch menu) We sat outside for lunch and it was comfortable and nice.

Super great food. But paying 70kr for 2 cans of water (Loka) is not the best thing.
I had a great dinning experience at Kaiyo. The food is beautifully presented; they have a variety of dishes that taste incredibly good (the best sushi I've had so far). You can tell the food is of great quality and fresh -it's like having heaven on a place. This is all complimented by a great service which made our experience a memorable one. Very nice place for good sushi. Nice and friendly staff and nice environment. Been here a couple of times and it's consistently good. Everything is made with care. Witch ice cream mochi and Ramune to top it of. But do try the pineapple ice cream. A big, positive surprise! But do try to call and reserve a table if you want to eat dinner in the weekend. It might be full as it is pretty small.
I have eaten here twice now and both times were simply disappointing. Their tempura was bland without any real care put into it. Their sushi is misshapen and obviously using frozen fish. The ramen had a nice broth and noodles but the protein options were disastrous. Chasu pork tasted old as well as having massive bits of unrendered fat left. There wasn't an ounce of crust or caramelisation. The beef had a horrendous texture, completely palid with no crust and off flavours, probably from being frozen and reheated. I sincerely hope that my experience is the exception, as the staff were amiable and accommodating, but at these prices it is very hard to recommend.
