We have been to this Johnny's several times. It is located at Knott's Berry Farm and you must pay to get in Knott's to get to it. The service used to be nice and the food was very good. This is no longer the case. Everything seems to have changed. First, instead of a nice person seating you, there is a person who takes your order at the door and hands you a beeper. So, impersonal. Now, you may find a seat or you may not, who knows. You then wait from 10 minutes to and hour for your beeper to beep. You are seated if you are lucky and your food is given to you. It may be right or it may have to go right back to try to get it fixed. The food has become not up to par with other Johnny's. It may be cold, who knows. We will not be back. We are done. For the prices I would expect to have friendly people and a nice atmosphere. It no longer has any of this. It is clean inside and cute. Food is pretty decent. Atmosphere is okay. Not worth the price, especially after waiting 45 min for food just to find out they haven't started it (90 min total wait). Do not come here if you're looking for something fast. Even if that's not the case, it's not really worth it. A 30+ minute wait every time even when not that busy. It's a chain, but I really liked the authenticity of the decor. Considering I usually just see them at the malls, it actually felt like a 50s style diner inside with a very large seating area. On a hot day, the air conditioning really helped too! That said, the chicken tenders were more like large chicken nuggets and the cheese fries were okay(shoestring fries with mostly melted cheese unintentionally mixed with chunks of shredded cheese). Didn't know where else to eat at Knotts. Thought this was safe. It turned out to be the most expensive meal we could think of. Food: it was ok, nothing to write home about. My wife complained that the burger she had was cold. I would agree with her that it didn't seem hot, more like it may have been kept warm for a while. Service: their was a line outside, and we thought the place was just busy. It turned out it was the cashier. She was very nice but slow. It could have been the register, but I had to repeat my order several times. The service in the restaurant was great, and everyone was cleaning as they went, which kept it looking good. Atmosphere: standard Johnny rockets. It was classic and kept up. We miss the radio where we can pay for music. But it is ok. Overall: would not return do to the cost. Our meal: three burgers, order of chilie fries, order of onion rings, side of regular fries, a drink, and oreo shake was about $80.00; insane, we spent less at Mrs. Knotts and got more food. We decided to go here because we'd never been to a Johnny Rockets. But, I remember seeing it in Undercover Boss, so I was curious. We were able to get seated right away in a booth. There were only two of us and we ordered way too much food. We ended up bringing home or should I say to the hotel - most of the bacon cheese fries. Moral of the story: don't eat too much at an amusement park. ;-) I didn't feel like riding any rides after eating there, but luckily, we ate there late in the afternoon and went on the rides that we wanted to. We had a good experience when we were here.

Rude employees, slow service. This place could use better, more involved management. Guy at the front desk was rude and seemed like he would rather be somewhere else. Came during knotts scary farm with my date. Waited 25 minutes to order and then sat down. We were waiting for an hour before we noticed others who came in around the same time were talking to management. Turns out our orders never made it to the kitchen due to a technical issue. They never tried to announce it so people were aware or make it right for anybody who waited through the issue. One group near us ripped into the manager while trying to get a refund, we finally got our food after an hour and a half. It was good but it was not worth that wait.
