Pros: good atmosphere, friendly staff and really good food. Cons: got our drinks, then it was 45 minutes until the waitress even checked back and over an hour to get food. They were nice, but acknowledgement and a heads up on wait time would have been appreciated. I've been to Jimmy's enough times that I almost feel like family there, which is exactly how they treat you from the first time you arrive. It's a really good combination of a family style restaurant where you can bring your whole family. Or you can sit at the bar, have a few beers, and watch the game on a large screen TV. For a small town local restaurant the food is amazing! They take great pride in what they serve so you can be assured you're getting something you'll take enjoy. PLUS the portions are big enough that you'll likely have enough leftover to eat for lunch the next day. If you haven't been there I highly recommend it! I like Jimmy's; a genteel atmosphere, but somehow still homey. I wouldn't call it upscale, it's not that fancy, but definitely a cut above the usual. It's a lot bigger inside d than it appears to be on the outside. The food was good. Again, not pretentious, but above average. Service was good.
