Ordered from this Jimmy John’s, it took an hour and 40 minutes to get my order. When I did it REEKED of cigarettes. Even the plastic chip bags smelled like cigarettes. When calling the store the employees had no idea where their driver was or what was going on. The manager was also completely incompetent. I’ve never had such a bad experience from a Jimmy John’s. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE. The staff at this restaurant are terrible. They can not READ delivery orders. Nor do they take accountability when they mess up an order. Instead, they try to turn it around on the customer, saying it was too many substitutions (no substitutions, just no tomato, no lettuce, and add bacon). Also, when you order delivery, they just throw your order on your steps and don't notify you that your order has arrived. Came in to buy the new caprese sandwich and was excited as I work at another sub shop and we don’t carry this one. I bought the biggest size just for one of the main ingredients the mozzarella to be missing and the balsamic glaze which quite literally makes the sandwich what it is. When I called and asked for a refund I got attitude because I wouldn’t take store credit, and I could hear the guy talking foul about me to his co workers. Some staff you got working there. This may not be specific to the Eagan location, but Jimmy John's in general. I honestly don't know what the fuss is about with JJs... We did it as a quick grab and go as we headed to the farmer's market nearby. The food is mediocre to say the least. No seasoning, sauce, or flavor to be found on my "Totally Tuna" regular sub. It honestly tasted like cardboard, and I'm not that picky. The service was adequate and the prep time was super fast - not sure if that's always a good thing. But the tiresome 90s to 2000s rock music was SO LOUD that it would dissuade us from eating in even if we wanted to. And between 2 regular sandwiches and a small Coke it came to over $20. What?! So, the bottom line is this is definitely mediocre food and most definitely not a good value. I would only use JJ in desperation, never again as a choice of a quick meal. My delivery tonight was fantasitc, even though id put in the wrong adress my driver had called me and gotten my food to me promptly, she had even paid attention to the note on my sandwhich name asking for the jalapeños chips instead, which werent an option when ordering online. I dont like to order food for delivery in the first place, but I feel like if I were to order from this store again I would be just as happy with my results! I went home to have lunch with my wife. We ordered at 11:30am, the app said it was out for delivery at 12:25, I left for work at 1:00pm and the two sandwiches still hadn't arrived. We only live 2 miles away. I called before I left for work and the guy on the phone just said "We're really busy, it's its on its way". No apology or anything. I don't blame the workers, but if it is going to take over an hour and a half, maybe have a note online about it, or stop delivery for a while. Very poor business model.
