This location has really friendly employees compared to the other ones I've been to. It feels like a family owned grocery store. Troy the associate store manager was quite pleasant and helpful, giving me professional advice on how I can possibly get ahold of a limited edition product. Also patiently gone over recommendations. Excellent customer service!!
It has limited parking space. Security are watching all drivers who do not go to the store.

Although this is the most convenient location, I go out of my way to the one on Dundee in Palatine or even to LZ. Various sale items listed in the weekly ad are never there (pasta, meat, chips, produce -- aka various depts). The employees are never friendly. And the parking spaces aren't even wide enough for vehicles (even for standard sedans). Just doesn't seem customer-friendly.
It's a great place to stop when you need to grab a few things. It's small, so you might not be able to find everything you'd find at one of the larger Jewels. I do love their fresh flowers, though! They seem to last longer than high end florist flowers.
Overall great store, employees are actually very nice and helpful, and it's located on some prime real estate right across from the AH Metra walking distance for practically all the residences in downtown AH.. Would be a 5 star however they seemingly have a slightly smaller selection than other Jewels. However, this is clearly due to the fact that it is somewhat smaller than other locations...I believe that this location used to be a Domincks before they went out of business.

Small neighborhood store where you can get all the essentials. While there may not be the same selection as larger stores, inventory is consistently good and prices are on par with others in the area. Plenty of parking with handicap spaces near the entrances. Public restroom available. Employees consistently friendly and helpful. Today was a total zoo with an impending blizzard in addition to the upcoming Christmas holiday. Lines at the Rolling Meadows Jewel stretched the length of the store. Lines at Mariano's in Palatine went to the back of the store. I tried the downtown Arlington Heights Jewel as my last attempt and was able to walk directly to a self-checkout when I was done shopping. All checkout lanes were open and they were doing a fantastic job dealing with the mad rush of people - far better and faster that the other stores that I visited and abandoned because I didn't want to stand in line for 30 minutes.
Not the best selection at times but over all good and staff is nice!
Don't go here unless you haven't a choice. Sure it's okay for the essentials I guess. But this location supposedly has the same item availability as larger locations, and there's simply not enough floor space to provide everything. For instance, I was searching for specific holiday candies for my customer and the seasonal aisle is literally no bigger than the area of a closet. There was no availability of the candies I needed, nor were there workers available to ask except for busily-checking cashiers at the checklanes.

Great little local feeling market. They have everything you need!
It's my go to Jewel versus going downtown AH. Much better selection. Deli counter can be hit or miss. You know when you're standing there for like 5 minutes waiting for your turn and they just completely ignore the number system and help the guy who just walked up. Life is hard.
