We were going to have take out, but we decided to dine in. It was a great decision 😎 atmosphere was really awesome, the staff were very kind and welcoming. They handled our orders PROFESSIONALLY WITH A SMILE which makes everything marinate well. The food, wow, I must say this was really well done. I had the supreme chicken with onion rings and fries with a fancy drink (forgot the name tbh 😁) Wifey had shrimp and chicken tenders with fries and onion rings as her sides and we both had our fill 😎 It's a great place for a date or a family get together 😀 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Tenders with Fries and Onion Rings

Visited Jaxx for an after work dinner lime, and I must commend the Chef for an excellent meal. Everything tasted delicious. The food was hot and presented well. A good casual dining experience. A great place to have a relaxed meal with some drinks. The service and food is good. Portions are healthy and they do allow some swaps which is great. Some mixed drinks are not that fabulous but there is something for everyone even vegetarians! Kids menu is also good. Photos are the mushroom burger and shrimp and tenders platter with mash and veges! The dining experience at Jaxx, located in Shops of Arima, was good overall. The food was tasty and served after about a 20-minute wait. We were served ample portions. The drinks and desserts were also good. I appreciated that the servers were especially kind to the little ones in our group and kept them entertained with crayons and coloring pages. We had the steak with creamy mushroom sauce, the quality of the steak is horrible however the rest of the meal is great. The service was exemplary & was the best part of the dining experience. I wished that we had the chance to substitute options for our meal though as we are told that we cannot. All in all was a pretty good but not great dining experience. My partner and I went for Valentine's. The line wasn't that long. We sat, git our drinks in about 10 minutes, but the food. That took close to 2 hours. I started timing a while after we got our drinks, and that timer still made it to an hour. The Valentine's special were not so special so we ordered of the regular menu. The food tasted good, but it took forever. The place was shivering cold and I had a jacket. I would recommend you go when it's not so busy. Brunch was great. I enjoyed some Very light and fluffy pancakes. Eggs and hash browns were really tasty and drinks were awesome. The Chef made a brief appearance to ask if the food was good. Kudos to her. Musical selections need some work. Temperature could be a little less cold. Servers were pleasant but not very enthusiastic. Walk in. Had a burger special of 2 burgers and fries and drink with each. The burgers were medium and tasted wonderful. It was the Hawaiian burger. The appetizer was the shark bites, which were a bit on the salty side. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

The service at Jaxx Shops of Arima is always a great one. Everything on our plates are freshly prepared, no pre packaged or stale veges. The service is very friendly, we've never had a bad server, always pleasant and smiling and friendly, true character of our twin island. The manager, although I forgot to ask his name today, was very positive and humble. Definately a space for every dining experience... lunch , dinner, date, girls brunch, and everything in between . Nice atmosphere, had to wait a while for food, but we went early so there weren't many servers. I ordered the wings and shrimp platter, the shrimp was awesome but the wings tasted a bit old/freezer burnt when you got down to the bone.
