I decided to order the grilled fish along with a drink, and I must say, both the food and service exceeded my expectations. The attentive waiter even assisted in removing the bones from the fish before I dug in. Additionally, the view from the restaurant was simply breathtaking. However, it was quite a warm and windy afternoon during my visit, which affected the overall comfort. I should mention that this restaurant is on the pricey side, but given my fatigue and hunger, I decided to stick with it rather than exploring more options. The food was quite good. I recommend the Goulash despite it being a seafood restaurant. The octopus was ok. Was kindof hard to get a table on the dock, and the view was partially blocked, so the atmosphere was typical of a touristy fish place. Staff were very slow and inattentive, but polite enough. Jadran is the name for Adriatic in Montenegro. After talking to many locals they recommended this as the best place for food in budva. The staff is very welcoming , kind and well trained in their profession. The fish was very good : cooked very traditionally on salt. The must eat is fish soup. I recommend to ask for the fresh fished fish. They offered a nice entree. Fast service. Delicate live music. Only the bread is commercial and nothing special but better than average in Montenegro still. More than fair prices, considering in budva there are a lot of tourist traps, this place is even more recommended... Great customer service, and delicious food. We took octopus and seafood pasta. We got a free small starter which was paprika and cheese dip, the bread was fresh and tasty. Stopped here for a quick lunch with my husband around 2pm. We ordered the calamari and black risotto. The risotto was delicious and full of flavour (so much that I took a bite of it before taking a photo). Calamari had the right amount of bite & crunch. Service was a bit slow but beautiful sea view! Overall rather disappointing dinning experience. The place was full on a Friday night and there even was a line of people to be seated. We have booked in advance, asked for a corner table and did get it. It is nicely placed on Budva Marina. Has rather pleasant view and atmosphere. Food however, was rather average. We have ordered a dish of various grilled meat, oysters, fish soup and some appetizers. Fish soup was good, but everything else really was quite disappointing. Dishes are large (as they usually are in Montenegro), but the meat was mostly dry and overcooked, oysters had too much oil on the dish. Service was ok, but not more. Waiter wasn't really helpful in choosing dishes, had to wait for a check for a while. The place is somehow very overpriced. We paid €80 for a rather modest dinner for two. Really good experience here. The waiting staff were excellent, especially after a party were incredibly rude and caused a scene. Gorgeous scenery and the octopus was stunning. Nice view of the harbor but that was the only positive as the meal itself fell short. We ordered the mussels jardran and they were not well cleaned, if they were at all. Practically every mussel had stringy seaweed that needed to be pulled from the mussel before eating. Just awful! Add to that the fact that it’s rather expensive, it was a disappointing lunch. Veal soup was good, you can give it a try. Cavapi was no good to me, the meat was dry, and there would be no potatoes in the original of cavapi. They have menu in many languages. This is a seafood restaurant so maybe it is better to try one of them. 2 soups, cavapi and cola was about 25 euros.
