We came by one night wanting to celebrate. Unfortunately, when we arrived the fire alarm was going off nonstop. We were greeted promptly and welcomingly. We were informed there had been an issue and unfortunately the alarms wouldn't be stopping and they couldn't do anything about it. The lady was so kind, professional, and personable. She offered the option to order as take out but we opted to dine in. We ordered a couple of drinks and perused the menu. The food smelled absolutely delightful. However, after a while we realized we couldn't stand the sound and the menu prices were unreasonable in our opinions so we opted to leave. I wish I could recall the lady's name who assisted us as she was truly the highlight of this establishment. She clearly has the patience of a Saint to deal with that siren all night but to still be so friendly, warm, and attentive. Honestly, if it weren't for the exorbitant prices, we'd definitely be regulars. Also, in case anyone is wondering this establishment doesn't serve alcohol. 2nd time ever going and was given lava again when we ordered mild Cajun seafood. Not sure who was in the kitchen today, but shame on you! No one could enjoy eating $200 worth of food, most of it was wasted. The staff downplayed the situation by stating that they eat the BYB when we tried to elevate our concerns. There must have been a mix up in the kitchen bc our kids say they’ve eaten there other times and got an entirely different sauce. Seems like consistency is an issue. When I tell you that the Customer Service was amazing. They offer Military Discount. As a Travel Business Owner I love doing Market Research. So that I can share valuable information with my clients if they are ever in the Mississippi Area. The food was soooo good. The prices are reasonable also. I’ve ate here before and it was very good, but wow! It just seems to get better The wings are absolutely wonderful with their special sauce! And I love Vietnamese food and I was surprised to see a pho soup and a Vietnamese pork chop and rice. So tasty.!! My husband got the catfish and it’s wonderful as ever Try this place out it is fantastic! My family and I visited here on the crab special day. I will admit that the hostess was nice, and the food came out quickly. This should be noted first. Outside of that, here are some of the issues that docked stars. We got part of an order, and when we asked about the second part, the hostess said to us, "Oh, you really wanted that?" Caught us off guard, but she was not mean or have an attitude about it. It's just strange to ask that. She apologized and brought it out quickly. The second thing was pricing. I don't remember the exact cost, but I remember it was $1 more than what was said and written. For example, it was posted as $14.99 per bag, and we were charged $15.99. In addition, we were charged an extra 15% service fee and about 3% because we used a card. With the misrepresented pricing and unnoted fees, our meal was almost 20% more than what was advertised. This made it about regular price. Lastly, the door is broken, and the area is dark and cold (in the winter). That is a hurt to the business and has nothing to do with the good mentioned earlier. I would most likely go again on the day of the special, but I know what to expect. The larger issues had nothing to do with food or being served. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

J3's is such a calming spot to enjoy seafood in the middle of the day. I was amongst three others in there during that time so it wasn't noisy and you could watch TV in peace. The food was amazing. I ordered the platter that had lobster, snow crabs, shrimps, corn, potagoes,and sausage. I added eggs w/J3 sauce, medium spice and lemonade. I was in SEAFOOD HEAVEN!!! My cousin and I both had the 1lb crab bags. I added shrimp to mine, the sauce was delicious. The waitress informed us that the 1lb crab boil bags are discounted on Mondays, $16.99. I initially forgot to post my review when I visited this place last week! Watever you do save your money and time! I ordered the j3 seafood bag which came with crablegs, a lobster tail, potato, n sausage! I added 2 eggs! My cousin ordered the catfish! The catfish tasted frozen n mercuy like!!! She sent it back n got wings instead not to mention the grease tasted old! The wings was no better they were old even tho to the eye they looked fresh! My seafood bag ughhhh!! The butter was old tasting the seafood wasn’t fresh it just wasn’t a great experience at all! Not to mention our bill was $106 they add gratuity on your bill which isn’t nothing new but we had two separate gratuity charges on one check! In my opinion it’s not worth the money it’s nasty n it is expensive for the amount of food you get! I’ll be going to southland casino when I want seafood cause this not it!!
