Mustafa who served me was very helpful, he was one of the chefs and honestly I was worried about trying sushi anywhere that wasn’t the us or Japan but man they were good. Very flexible with the food you order to make sure you get exactly what you want for the price you want. If you are in Antalya and want to try some sushi this is the place.don’t waste your time going someplace that won’t give you the best.

I ordered sushi without cheese, but somebody forgot. I ate it but was not too happy about that. We had soup, salad, and some other sushi that was good. Service was good and relaxed with happy staff. 😊

We were having good sushi in this restaurant (not the best that we have tried, but the best in Antalya) - one star for it. The other star is for dry steak (as dry that u can’t even slice), for Bolognese without sauce and meat and even salt, for over salted mashed potato that you are having on the bottom of container but with such a taste you don’t need more, for overdone shrimps seeming in the oil without even a garlic. Disappointed. Have no idea for what we have paid money. We will recommend only sushi and inside (maybe for take away they will be worse).
It was one of the best restaurants in Antalya that I ever tried. I definitely can say that it is the best sushi restaurant in Antalya. It has a very beautiful atmosphere and the service was professional. I definitely recommend it. ❤️

Amazing ambiance, excellent and fresh food, great cappuccino, and caring staff. Loved the live music and the mood. Visited 4 times during my 5 days time in Antalya. Would definitely visit again whenever I come back to Antalya.

Tucked a stone's throw away from the iconic Hadrian's Gate in Antalya's charming old town, Iva Gastro Bistro and Sushi proves to be a perplexing fusion of gastronomy and sushi that left me torn after my recent dining experience.
My previous visit to this establishment, when it was solely a sushi spot, left lasting memories. However, the transformation into a gastronomic bistro took me by surprise, and I found myself navigating an overwhelming menu that seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. Accompanied by three others, the decision-making process became an ordeal as we deliberated over the extensive menu. Opting for a shortcut, we settled on the Set of 70, a choice that promised a diverse culinary adventure. The set began on a promising note with a selection of sashimi, providing a delightful introduction to the meal.
Regrettably, the enthusiasm waned as the parade of nigiri commenced. The oversized pieces proved challenging to handle, even for seasoned chopstick users like ourselves. Attempts to dip them into the soy sauce and wasabi concoction ended in frustration, as the loose rice disintegrated, disrupting the delicate balance of flavors. The result was an overwhelming presence of tasteless rice that lingered in both my mouth and memory.
It became evident that the true highlight of Iva Gastro Bistro and Sushi lies in its bistro offerings, not the sushi. While the location remains convenient, and the historic surroundings add to the ambiance, those seeking a remarkable culinary experience might want to divert their attention to the bistro dishes instead. The sushi, unfortunately, fell short of the expectations set by the restaurant's previous identity, leaving me with mixed sentiments about this culinary journey.

We stopped by yesterday to just check it out because we have been watching its development. The owner was standing outside and invited us to take a look at the inside.
Wow! Was the first word out of my mouth. The entry was is very appealing and it leads to the stairs overlooking the patio seating.... And Wow came out. This place is just beautiful. I mean very beautiful.
We decided to stay for coffee because we had already eaten. But we promised the owner (Sarkan) and our waiter (Mustafa) that we would return the following night. We were informed about live music on Wednesday and Saturday nights.
Tonight is Wednesday night and the music is phenomenal... this band is really, really good.
Our dinner couldn't have been any more delicious. We ordered the Hiro Roll and the Tempura Roll and the Salmon with Spinach.
I must say this was the very best sushi I've ever had anywhere, especially the Hiro roll... it was simply terrific and full of flavor. The Tempura roll was delicious too. Both were very fresh and the raw fish was of great quality.
The entree of Salmon with Spinach and Creamed Mashed Potato was world class. The Salmon was cooked to perfection. The Spinach and Potato were superbly prepared and made for great accompaniments to the mouthwatering Salmon.
The ambiance of this restaurant is the best I've experienced in all of Antalya and it is certainly the best in all of Kaleici.
The decor is stunning and they have done a great job of incorporating water fountains around the large bougainvillea and the large lavender plants at base of the two citrus trees make it very pleasant and aromatic.
Our waiter Mustafa is very prompt, friendly, and professional. He provided us with impeccable service.
This is must visit to see and experience the food here. I'm certain you'll be extremely pleased and you'd want to come back for more.
