I recently dined at IndianHut Restaurant in Galle, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance was perfect for a calm meal, creating a serene atmosphere. The staff were notably friendly, providing excellent service throughout our visit.

However, some items lacked the bold flavors I anticipated from an authentic Indian restaurant. The presentation was commendable, but taste-wise, there was room for improvement.

Atmosphere is calm, Best place for Indian food in Galle. Indians are at work also. Food smells good, mouth watering as well. Dine in and Delivery available. Childrens area available (play area) Washrooms available. It's neat and clean as well.
I prefer this Indian hut in Galle.

Had a very bad experience @indian hut, Galle.They took long time to take our order and as soon as we start the order, the waiter said food gonna be late. Then we asked our drinks and water bottle first and waited. Finally one of us had to go to the counter and bring our drinks and water bottle to the table. Then we waited for a food almost half an hour and finally asked it to take away as it was too late. Then we asked our bill and waited and waited. Finally, we had to go to the counter to pay the bill.
There was no spoon packed for the takeaway soups and containers were soo dusty. Overall very disappointed and not even deserve for one star.

Not only was the service spectacular but the food tasted just like Southern India. The Kerala curry was on point! My friend from that region of India also agreed. It’s not crowded with tourists either and more of a local place. Highly recommend.

Completely shocked with a medium bowl plain steam rice price which cost me LKR550 include tax..
What kind of greedy management are they, even when I'm living at Sydney, Australia. I were never charged more than LKR250 for medium rice bowl.

Before ordered fish curry, i had remind the waiter thrice to cook it less oily instead of it the meal was very oily..
And the chicken biryani taste okay, anyhow the tandoori chicken is taste better..
