Upon arrival I got excited because it was IHOP. A place that I love but this particular IHOP in Hattiesburg, MS was not pleasing at all. It needs to be renovated from the building to the staff. I didn’t know if I was there to eat,cook, or do the dishes. The waitress did not introduce herself nor did she come around and serve us. We got served over the wall reaching over us and all instead of walking around the wall. The food was horrible pancakes falling apart ham not cooked grill need to be cleaned expired salsa. And the big steak omelet was tasteless and falling apart as well. I can say the best part of my breakfast was my glass of water. We went here and Freda was our waitress and we couldn’t have had better service. My granddaughter was with us and she drew Freda a picture and left her a note. Hello all, I am a frequent flier here but it wasn't always this way. Over the course of six months I've had the pleasure of coming here more and more. I have not had a single issue with my orders and the staff have always been exceptionally hospitable. The four servers I'd like to name personally are Dianna, Megan, Ashley and Kevin. They've always went above and beyond but it is important to note that every server I've had during this time has treated me with a notable amount of respect and hospitality; I'd be lucky to have any of them for my table! The table's coffee has never ran out and accommodations have always been met for us without any issues (Since Day 1!). Our food has always come out fast, we usually go in down times but even at their busiest they know how to dish it out with speed AND quality in comparison to other places locally. IHOP (Hattiesburg) staff want want their customers to return for another visit and it truly shows. My wife is vegetarian and staff has always helped us discover new options to try out when new menu items roll out. They have always helped us with any questions and clarifications we have about their menu. Which by the way is a rather extensive menu. You could likely eat here every day for a month and still not have tried all of their options. I love this IHop but will not be back. I walked in to wait to be seated. I am standing two feet from desk where waitress is checking out another customer. I’m not greeted by her but okay maybe she is having a bad day. She finished and leaves never acknowledge I was there. Two more waitresses walk by twice, make eye contact and do not greet me or say we will be with you shortly. Ended up waiting for about ten minutes. Never spoken to or acknowledged that I was there as a customer waiting to be seated. I realize you may be busy but all you have to do is speak hello someone will be with you in a few minutes. Not just looked at as I am not there and did not matter. Customer for years but will be taking my business elsewhere due to rude staff and will tell others as well. Hope things get better for you guys and remember all it takes is a simple hello, we will be with you in a few minutes. It is called courtesy and customer service. This is an older IHOP, that is very creative at their seating. Tight seating, very close together, reminiscent of a diner from the 1950s. The employees here are very hard working, you can see all of them. We visited for a Sunday morning breakfast, and the place was packed. Our waitress was very polite, and attentive to ever detail. Our food was delicious, the only miss was that our Grand daughters. “Funny Face” pancakes, had an unrecognizable bunch of whipped topping(no face). I went here for my bday breakfast and my waiter was amazing and so was the food if u go there def ask for Valerie mcswain!! Definitely check out the food and the amazing people there if ur in the area. 10/10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Was disappointed with the IHOP experience here. I ordered food to go. The quality of the food I ordered (The Harvest Grain 'N Nut Pancakes) suffered. Food quality and where the customer chooses to eat should not be coorelated. The staff's adherence to safety protocols were lax at best. It didn't help that the restaurant was cramped on the inside. I do not plan on returning anytime soon.

I stopped to this IHOP during my trip towards New Orleans for dinner. IHOP has been my favourite place for omelette and pancakes. This is another usual one. However, this place was not clean enough. There was a foul smell inside where we were sitting! I don’t know if we were sitting beside any trash or not! The food was kinda usual. The staffs were fine, may be tired at the end of a long day.
