My favorite Hy -Vee is the one on Sycamore and 26th. Having said that, I am very disappointed in the bakery. I ordered a birthday cake for my granddaughter's birthday, and it was nothing like I asked for. Everything was written down, and the cake still couldn't have been further from what I ordered. Only the balloons were correct. I don't think anyone even looked at the note with my requests. If I wouldn't have needed the cake the following day (Sunday), I would have refused it. This is the only time I have ever left a review, much less a negative one. The 1 star only reflects
the bakery experience, not the whole store.
