Popped in for brunch and tea before a day out and it was great! The “on-rye” was generous with avocado.. Our waitress was an absolute joy and offered knowledgable recommendations for their tea selection. Some umbrellas and seat cushions would be a great addition, but otherwise lovely! Bought a carrot cake for my husband's birthday. Wow, what an extremely tasty and beautiful cake. Made to perfection. Price very reasonable. Thank you for your super customer service. I took my wife for Sushi today. She was really excited. When the menu arrived we went straight to the Sushi part and was very exited. Shortly thereafter the owner Informed us their is no Sushi, so we had to choose something else after we got over the disappointment. I then ordered hake and chips with Calamari. The Calamari never appeared. The 5mm thick pieces of fish tasted the same as the potatoes. Cooked in the same oil. I can still say a lot but I will leave it at this. Now I am spending the night on the toilet. I would not have done this review if I didn't get food poisening because of the off fish. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Ordered pretty standard pizzas at R155 which is above average price wise. Pizzas were not wood fired, bases seemed like store bought frozen bases, tomato sauce was very sweet, wouldn’t have been surprised if it was literal tomato sauce although the menu said homemade, cheese was a mixture of mozzarella and yellow cheese, either Gouda or cheddar or both. Cheese was hardly melted bases showed no signs of browning. None of us finished our pizzas. My six year old had one slice. We did not get doggy bags. Worst pizza ever at inflated price. Told the owner/ manager and he did not charge for one of the pizzas. The other food looked ok but we all had pizza. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Had great experiences before at various occasions but when arriving for breakfast today we stood around for quite some time, lady behind the counter not even looking up. I walked to the counter and asked if we could sit at the empty table in the corner and got a short "no, it is reserved". Not any attempt to offer us one of the open tables outside and waiter outside ignored us as well. Not any attempt at offering to put up an umbrella at a open outside table as with previous visits. So we left and found breakfast at a nearby place with friendly service. We were really disappointed. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

A lovely quaint restaurant in Jacobsbaai. The staff were wonderful and the food excellent in taste and presentation. We also enjoyed the live music and the fresh smell of the ocean on the breeze. Very nice all round... we will be back. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 150–200
