Come here for a drink after a long walk around Bellingham Railway Museum. At this bar, visitors can have nicely cooked hash browns, egg sandwiches and bacon. The cooks here prepare good waffles, pancakes and biscuits. At Horseshoe Cafe, guests may try good beer. Based on the guests' opinions, waiters serve great coffee. Food delivery is a big plus of this place. The success of this spot wouldn't be possible without the creative staff. Fine service is something clients agree upon here. A number of people have noticed that the dishes are offered for attractive prices. The fancy decor and comfortable atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. Long standing diner Came here for brunch. Got chicken and biscuits, chili, chicken with fries, and loaded hash. Chicken was overdone on both dishes. It’s deep fried and the color was almost dark rust. It made the chicken dry. Sausage gravy for the chicken and biscuits was thick. I prefer a runnier sauce that doesn’t thicken so easily. Fries for the chicken and fries were addictive. Being a shoestring cut, they were very easy to over eat! Chili looked homemade. My 12 year old found it spicy but she was warned by the staff that the dish had a little kick. The loaded hash was very tasty and super filling. Nice place to go across the border.. amazing heart warming food, good portions. They have hidden(not so hidden) bar, with variety of cocktails and a special drink for each day of the week. Arguably my favorite place to stop in for a beer (or 2) and a tasty something to eat. Bar on one side, diner vibe on the other. Never been disappointed with the food and if you are looking for a drink or 2 the bar will not let you down. Favorite spot downtown for many years now. I used to come here all the time when I was in college because it was a fun place with decent service, great food. As of today, however, things have definitely gone downhill. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it took about 40 minutes for us to get our son's chicken strips and fries, my chicken and biscuits, and my husband's egg benedict. We were only checked on one time to let us know food would be out soon, but we were never asked if we needed drink refills, or when our food finally did come, how our food was. Which, the majority of our food was NOT good. The chicken strips my son received as well as the chicken under the gravy for the chicken and biscuits were BURNT burnt. Literally there were black pieces of batter. How does someone see that and still decide to send it out?! The hashbrowns for both myself and my husband also tasted burnt. And ultimately all of the oil used tasted very old. My husband did say his eggs benny was good though, and the biscuit and sausage gravy for my meal were also good. This place is awesome. A bar to watch the game. A lounge area where no food or drink is allowed. Plenty of tables for their unique menu. Had a great experience there the waitresses were friendly and kind. Able to carry conversations while working since I was at the counter. My chicken was crispy and juicy waffle was excellent with some butter syrup all came together great. Scrambled eggs nice fluffy. All the food coming out looked great as well . Always nice sitting at the bar right by kitchen can.see all the dishes being served. Great place I'd like go back try few other things. Not sure I understand the hype. Food was pretty average. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about. Service was excellent. Our server had a great attitude and was very polite. Talk about an old school diner with a bar. This place has been around for decades, we used to hang out here in the early 90s, and it has hardly changed. The food and cocktails still rock, which is a great place to absorb some booze and laugh it off with your friends. There is plenty of room for all your friends.
