The friendliest service & I had the best pizza and good beer. I do not speak any Slovenian and this is a very local place but they are so accommodating and friendly. I love this village and the people are so so so friendly. I would definitely return to this place & plan on it. Some locals at surrounding tables spoke English and I had the pleasure of speaking to them and learning about Slovenia while another local group played an accordion at a table next to us. Location of this guesthouse is beautiful. We ate a lunch on the outdoor terrace. It was nice even though a little bit undermaintained. Staff was kind and helpful. Food was OK but not excellent. The vibe at the guesthouse was very local - I had an impression that everyone knows everybody there. It felt like many of guests were there like at home. The food is excellent! The ambient is great! The owner doesn't speek english but manages easily with tourists and it was just the best tastes - service ... - in Slovenia. So we came back for a second round - this time tried the black sausage - EXCELLENT !!! and pork leg - just below the knee - perfect !!!

It was quite dissapointing. Food was quite bad and the coffee had a burnt taste. I was negatively surprised when it got the receipt and the lunch menu was 13€. The price was not listed on the menu, or on any other visible place. My wife had pizza and it was 6€. If the price for lunch is 2 times more expensive than any other average item on the menu, it should be clearly stated. The fact that It was not listed on the menu or anywhere else, so it seemed like a rip off. I don't reccomend this place. It's not worth the 15 min drive from Cerknica.

Beautifully set in a small village. Authentic and home grown cooked food. Friendly staff and the Boss likes to tell jokes. Brilliant!!! Highly recommended
