I was picking up large container of cranberry sauce and at checkout I dropped it! Customer Service Jeanne expertly cleaned up mess and quickly went to Deli and replaced the order. Never acting upset with me!! And, this was Wednesday before Thanksgiving!! Store extremely crowded! Olathe Hen House is THE BEST!! Thankful for it and truly wonderful employees like Jeanne!!!

I am absolutely thrilled with the custom birthday cake Hen House bakery made for me! I had a family photo I wanted to have printed in sugar and placed on top of the cake. I first stopped at Walmart to have it done with a 3-day lead time, however they needed 4 days and were unable to do it for me. I immediately went to Hen House across the street and all they needed was 24 hours! The cake was beautifully decorated, I could not be more pleased with results. I plan to use this Hen House bakery for all of my future custom bakery orders.

The staff always have to start with the staff. They are so friendly! Absolutely every single person in that store is nice every single time! They go above and beyond! The store is very well put together very well organized very clean. The food in the deli is fantastic!! And FYI fish Friday is the best LOL! Their fish was really good!!! So good I want to go in there for sure on Friday.

Terrible service/experience this past weekend. Submitted an online order (food) about 3 weeks prior to my event and my order was confirmed. I showed up to the store to pick up the day of my event & order was NOT ready (I understand that mistakes or errors do happen). I was told it'd be 5 minutes, so I continued to finish my shopping at the store, came back about 10 minutes later and order was NOT even started !!!!! They had 4 employees in the meat/ seafood department and not one could make it. It was such a waste of time and gas to drive to Olathe. ANNOYING!!

We love this location!! The store is always clean and the produce is fresh. I get salads from here weekly for lunch. But the real star of the show is Modesto!! We enjoy seeing him every week and will go out of our way to get to go through his check out! There are several other great employees but he always has a smiling face and is sure to say hi to us!

Henhouse doesn't get the rave reviews like some of the big supermarket stores like Walmart. It's a great place to shop. Amazing salad bar with fresh lettuce and fixings. The place has a small deli. The staff is helpful and available to ask questions.

I came in looking for some BBQ sauce for some ribs I was smoking this weekend. The associate recommended the "Ross Sauce" and I gave it a try. I opted for the hot n spicy version and I wasn't disappointed. This was hands down the best sauce I've ever tried and I can't wait to try the other flavors !

Love the fresh Turkey’s. The prices were so high though. Over $7.00 for a small bag of grapes, $8.00 for strawberries. It was convenient to pick up these few items all at once but will be shopping around in the future.

They have remodeled since I was last there and everything looks great. Great produce selection, butcher helped me with a specialty cut and large beer selection. Clean and easy to find what I needed
