Have been to Helado a few times, always super friendly service, and tasty ice creams. They have a separate freezer of dairy free / vegan sorbets and ice creams. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a plant wall in the upstairs seating area, and swings in the downstairs seating area. Feel like could definitely benefit with an additional staff member on during busy times, as the one lady working seemed to be carrying it all! First time visiting Helado in Rolleston. Venue looks great. We tried their brunch menu. We ordered the Rakaia benny and Rolleston mushroom. The serving is a good size. Food taste is 5/5. I also ordered the iced chocolate with gelato that was amazing in looks and taste. My husband tried the dark chocolate gelato and he loves it… we will surely be back to try other food and drinks in the menu. Such a delicious brunch today. We’ve been meaning to try the brunch after loving the bakery goods for a while and it did not disappoint! Such good value for money - delish coffee. Highly recommend the mushrooms and the eggs benny! Everything is made on site from the sauces to the breads. Service was so friendly! Couldn’t recommend more. Gelato is the best in Christchurch, I rate it over many of the popular stores it’s just a bit of a small size scoop compared to others. I had breakfast here one time and the quality for price wasn’t great, the hollandaise sauce was dry and not great flavour. However this was when it first opened so maybe some start up issues? Holy $#!π this place is delicious. I got Lincoln's Apple Frenchie and if you could put paradise on a plate, this is it. Very friendly staff, fun design of the place (my toddler liked the swings and stairs. Highly highly recommend for both meals or snacks. Good for my wife's gluten and dairy free stuff I'd have taken a picture of my meal but it got inhaled.

Oh my stars, what a Gem in Rolleston, divine gelato...I had 3 flavours and boy of boy. The pistachio, mango and passion fruit cheesecake left me wanting more. So being my birthday dinner coming up. We purchased take away flavours to cater for our guests. The service and atmosphere was A1.
