We had a fantastic dinner tonight. The most tasty and perfect prepared fish together with delicious vegetables and homemade fries. Maxim is a very good chef. The restaurant is friendly and welcoming with a warm atmosphere. Low quality restaurant for the highest price you can imagine. We never paid so much to have a such a bad food during our 3 weeks trip around Sri Lanka. We realized most of beach restaurants don’t care about quality and they are overpriced. The waiter working there also didn’t seem like enjoying his work. Super friendly staff and cold beer. Complimentary sun loungers and bodyboards. The food is quite average, and the wait time is outrageously long. The beach is fantastic. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

They take forever to prepare food. There were atleast 4-5 people in the kitchen, but the amount of time they take is unbelievable. Among other things we ordered 2 french fries and there was a gap of 15-20 mins between the two plates. Simple order for only one person took over 45 minutes to be served. Staff couldn’t seem to care less about the long waits or service.
