Why aren’t we allowed to give places like this 0 stars?! In fact, can’t we just give them minus stars?
Where can I start?
Firstly, one of the waiters there looks like she’s ready for a party, talks down on people, and treats them like she’s above everyone else. She speaks little Portuguese, so not sure where she’s originally from, but she’s not good, she doesn’t show any love for her work and acts like she’s a model all the time. Ah and not to forget, she whistles when bored…
Then there are the other two waiters, one who seemed okay at first but later noticed she’d be in a fight each and every time she got the food from the chef for the customers… or that, or the chef was rude, in fact, everyone in there seems to be a problem.
Now the food… well we almost didn’t get any, we waited for over an hour and we almost left. I ordered a Frisumo Pineapple twice!! The first can was super dirty where you normally drink from… so I complained and asked for another one… yup, it was dirty, again. We ended up cleaning it ourselves.
My partner’s coke was fine!
My partner ordered the ‘Migas’ dish, and I ordered the ‘Febras’ dish. One hour later we heard them saying the ‘Migas’ dish wasn’t available anymore… this because they gave priority to the people outside even those who came after us. And to add to that, he had also forgotten to tell the chef about my ‘Febras’ dish.
So we ended up re-ordering everything, but now, two ‘Febras’ dishes because the ‘Migas’ dish was no longer available.
5(ish) minutes later and there he was with our dishes… but… the meat was undercooked (pork) and so were the fries.
The place itself looks filthy, the bathroom looks and smells bad. The service is mediocre to bad. Plates weren’t properly cleaned and neither were the cutlery.
The prices aren’t very friendly either, and they will try to scam you! They still put the price for the ‘Migas’ dish on the bill even tho no one had it, I complained obviously and did get the right bill back, but they knew very well what they were trying to do there.
Stay away from this place, even if it’s the only place that’s open, it’s a tourist trap with awful service, disgusting food and a filthy establishment.

I don’t know why there are so many 1 Stars, that’s not true. Yes, waiting time might be long but it’s a small business. Yes, service is not „professional“ staff but hard working! prices are touristic I would say. food was decent, I had cod fish, I liked it! See my picture.
One of the best locations in Evora. Nothing else good to say. Shame that you can’t give 0 stars.

Food was oke. service at the table too. But the waiting long and the time between the two dishes (one person and the other) far too long. Thousands of excuses are needed to almost every customer at that moment. Also to us. In the end we were asked if we like a coffee. Seemed like a way to say sorry. But even these were charged. ... Not recommended...so much better restaurants in that area available.

This was the worst food we ever have eaten!!!
All the meat was very hard and overcooked. Didn’t look presentable to eat. The spaghetti had almost no sauce. The tuna was super hard. Overall super bad!! DONT EAT HERE!!!

Thieves, no other word for it. First time in 33 years that I’m deceived by a restaurant owner. Terrible food, stale bread, overtime cheese and a tiny bit of bacon. Didn’t ask for the price (33 years never cheated in this country!). Ended op paying a kings ransom for very bad food, horrific service. Don’t go here!!!!

Don't go here, please. Absolutely a tourist trap. The waitress had no idea if the wine we ordered was white or red. We got a very oily soup and a tuna that was impossible to chew. We also had to wait very long to get the bill. I strongly recommend to search for one of the restaurants close to Praça do Giraldo.
The most unfriendly waitress I've ever encountered. I didnt dare to order anything more than a drink. Definitely won't see me there again. And on the day I was not the only unhappy customer.

It's a pity you can't give less than one star, because that would be the rating this place deserves. Our sangria had a strong taste of sweetener and was possibly alcohol free. After one glass me and my husband both felt a little sick. So we decided not to drink more sangria and ordered rosé wine. What we got tasted more like grape juice. I really felt like they were messing with us. When we made a complaint, there was no service to make up for the horrible wine. They're just said: That's how we make it. In the end we paid for all of the sangria even though we only drank half. Just don't go here, it's really awful.
