visited on July 23 during the weekend brunch hour. The flavour of Nanyang kopi is acceptable. Egg noodle with pork chop is just average. Noodle taste bland. Pork chop is merely acceptable. The Hainanese curry chicken rice is also acceptable but wasn't particularly noteworthy. restaurant located at level 1. Restaurant is quite tidy & roomy. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The taste of food still nice like what we ate previously from old shop. Must try their signature menu: Gerai Nyonya Laksa (Lai Fun) & Buttermilk Chicken Chop rice 😋 The only annoying thing is quite many flies there. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Nyonya Laksa

Setia Alam have always been a choice for food around Shah Alam but it a bit of a drive away. Especially in the name association of “Taipan”. Yesterday after a bit of a drizzle and cooling temperature, the crave for something spicy suddenly triggered. Hence a short back road through Sunway SPK ( UITM shah alam/ pass Sunway Kayangan/Puncak Alam ) leads us straight towards Setia Taipan 1&2. This gem is called Gerai but it’s on the first floor. For ease of reference look out for LFC taipan 2. Loved the choices of top up’s to either the Siam Bee Hoon or Plain Nasi Lemak. My choice today is both prawns and cockles Sambal (RM7 each for a good portion). I had 5-6 prawns and spoonful of cockles. Dearly and deadly combination of considering age 😂😂😂😂😂. The Nyonya Laksa was topped with raw cockles, tauhu pok, prawns and lots of bean sprouts. Very tasty as it’s cooked by an aunty ( I could swear she is Penangite or baba which ever, as long as it’s tastefully done). A bit pricy considering you have option to add what every you fancy including Siew Yoke

This is my first visit at their new place. I was wondering why did they move as their previous location was pretty strategic. Their new place is located at first floor. You can find amble parking if you are here early. We tried their signature laksa and mee rebus as I have not eaten mee rebus for 2 years. Both noodles were really good. Brings back memories.

Located on first floor, enter from staircase just beside Pak Lim restaurant. Large food portion and taste is relatively okay. Cozy and clean surrounding. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
Food and drinks are generally good. Cendol is the bomb, it is sweet, creamy and refreshing. The amount of gula melaka and coconut milk used is very generous, hence the bowl is aromatic and creamy. Kopi is not bad, fairly strong aftertaste. Service could be improved. The waitress had been missing out our orders. She should also be more vigilant to avoid confusion. For example, she stated 'butter milk chicken' while the dish was actually 'butter milk fish', as per our order. Overall, this is a good spot for a hearty meal after a strenuous hike at the nearby Mirror Lake.

Located upstairs the shop lot. Famous for their butter chicken rice and it’s good. The best part is easy to find parking (weekend) and it’s very reasonably priced There’s a kids corner with toys and books to entertain kids which being a mom, I would very much appreciate this kind of small service gesture. Thank you! Recommended to order: Buttermilk chicken rice Cendol Red wine chicken mee sua Their egg noodle selection was so so only so I’d say choose other things to try out first. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 1–20
