I’ve ordered takeaway twice when I was in Istanbul. My hotel was 5 mins away. The simit was good. simple breakfast. There are also others with fillings. The ones with cheeese, tomato and cucumber was equally good. I also tried the pizza style simit. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Small bakehouse serving freshly baked bread. Simit was good, owner was friendly too. Had the simit served with some butter (or other spread of your choice) and a cup of hot tea. I bought a take away of small pastries (unfortunately I don't know their names). They tasted so good, and despite looking similar, had different texture. I really liked it. And another important note: they don't scam you just because you are a tourist. I paid for a portion that served me as dinner less than 1.5 euros (42 lires) Totally recommend.
