I wasn't really overwhelmed by this place. The beer was okay, and the food didn't really do it for me. We got the wet hot Italian beef. There wasn't a ton of flavor, and the gravy made the bun taste a little weird. I'd probably come back to try the rotating beer selection but not the food.

Wonderful service! They were very patient with us even when it was almost closing and let us sample a couple before making a decision on our flight. Enjoyed all the beers in the flight even though some styles were ones I usually don’t go for :)

Aqua Culture (saison), Night Nurse (stout), & Double Shift (imperial stout) were very good beers. Nice night-time atmosphere.

My wife and I got 2 flights (8). All were very good but the Maine Coast IPA and Party of Three Tripel were amazing. We didn't try anything to eat.

The glass lamps hung from brass chains and the soft light from the lamps lit the exposed brick wall where art deco posters were hanging everywhere. The blood red floor was worn dull in spots from the unrelenting foot traffic of passing tourists and you could smell in the air the sweet savory draw of cooked sausage, lingering in the diffuse light. And the darkness of the floor was contrast to the gleaming bar counter, all oak and slate and steel and cool to the touch, painted in shining pastel blues and oranges and reds like a forgotten carousel at dusk. The bartender nodded and said Good Evening as she handed over a platter and a tray containing four small glasses. Through the windows, a tide of transitory travelers ebbed in the baking heat of the sidewalk and flowed across the busy streets, paying no mind to crosswalks or traffic, and finally making way to the ice cream shops and t-shirt stores and to the still-cold ocean, lost to all remembrance. Five stars, he said.

This place is legit! Outstanding beers. The Night Nurse (I think that was the name—I could be wrong) was downright incredible. Staff was great, place was clean and tidy, atmosphere was quiet and appealing, prices were as expected for a tourist town. I would happily return to Bar Harbor specifically for Fogtown.

Stopped by for a quick drink. Had the hazy IPA which was pretty good! It didn't have the warmest atmosphere, and I was put off a flight by the $15 price tag for 4 samples. Other nearby places I've been will do 5 or 6 samples for less. One bonus point was that they played a lot of Incubus! That was a blast from the past... Toodle-oo

This is a small storefront in Bar Harbor ME for a microbrewery actually on Ellsworth Maine about 20 miles or so away. They have some pretty unique beers and some seltzers on tap. I counted 8 beers (one good sour), 3 seltzers, 1 sangria, and the most unique item was a float made with chocolate malt ice cream and their Night Nurse stout. They do have some food available, but it's more like appetizer type items.

A great place to get single cans of craft beer in Bar Harbor. The liquor store or the supermarket don't have a good selection of local craft beer, particularly single cans. It was a great experience to pick up some different beers and have them in the park overlooking the harbor. Definitely recommend.

The beer was pretty decent and we had a nice time playing a board game. However, when I ordered a beer that was advertised at $9.50, it rang in at $10 and added 15% (much higher than the actual amount) in tax, before the 20-30% suggested tip. I’m certainly happy to tip well (although we were not treated nicely), but I’m most certainly not okay with charging dishonest prices or taxes. If you don’t mind your brewery stealing from you while providing mediocre service, this is the place for you.
