Fantastic Take Away food ! Had the black pepper burger and hubby had the cheesy mushroom burger ...it was REALLY GOOD ! Service was friendly and fast and their onion rings was something special ! The places amazing the services amazing the only slight issue that I have is the outdoor I don't think it's safe enough it should have security guards, And for the kids surveillance. The Flying Saucer Roadhouse is one of the first take aways in Virginia and the only roadhouse in Virginia. It has for years been a landmark in the town and well known for it's great prices. We did a quick stop over for nostalgic reasons and I must say that I was not to impressed with the quality of the food. Although it has new owners, I did not think that it should have such a big influence. The milkshake tasted a bit old and the ice cream comes went soggy within a few minutes. I don't think the ingredients are of very good quality.

Review based on having hamburgers and Milkshakes there in the 70's. It was called the Dairy Den back then. Going there with our 50cc motorbikes then later in our VW Beetles. Great memories. I left Virginia in 1976, but will be coming down from Melkbostrand in two weeks time for a 50 year school re-union and might give their hamburgers a try
