Great prices, clean store, and wonderful staff! What more could you ask for? This store is a bit out of the way from where I live across town, but I managed to stock up on some bread to put in the freezer when we need it. If we lived closer, I would buy my loaves of bread from here more often! Nature’s Own bread is .79 and Dave’s Killer Bread manages to be $1! I’ll definitely be returning in the future.
When I go into this store the 2 young ladies always greet me with a smile. I Love the prices. that’s where I get ALL my bread . They also ask do I need any help. I like the service and I will continue to go back. Thanks for your service.
My family and I was in the store this morning (3/30/21) and this older black lady that was working in the store was just so rude to my mother. She had a cart of bread pulled out onto the floor not even working with it. My mother was looking to buy some of the bread on there but the lady came at her yelling louder and louder. My mother apologized 4 times and the lady kept yelling. They need to price the bread before it comes out of their back room. Also no employee should treat a customer that way. I think it will be a while before we return to that store.
I used to go into the store a lot last fall but got tired of the employees attitude at the register towards closing time so I quit going and I finally went early spring and the employee hollered at me when I walked in the doors at five minutes till five and said they were closing soon so I couldn't come in their business so I turned around and left. Then after a long break about 6 months I decided to go in this past Wednesday I got there at about 355 And walked in the door which wasn't locked or anything and they hollered at me and said they would be closing at four and I was like well that's OK i don't need to shop a lot I just need to grab a few loaves of bread and I walked by grabbed a hotdog bun a hamburger bun four loaves of bread and went up to the counter behind two other people and she rang them out and after she got through with one of them she hollared at the other employee to come up I guess and lock the door so she came up and stood at the door and then she waited on the person in front of me which had just a couple items she waited on me I asked her if she had another good seed bread in the back and she waved her hands like well I'm not happy that you're here anyway so I'm not even looking and she just shrugged her head and wave your hands and just kept on ringing my bread up and I thought OK then she said I guess you made good use of the line didn't you and I was like well yeah I guess I did and then I thought what she's being caddy and then she said when I say we close at four I mean we close at four and I was like well I was here a few minutes before and I only need a couple loaves of bread I don't get here very often however I can buy my stuff at Kroger's and that's what I have been doing and that's what I can continue to do and she's like well next time if you walk in and I say were closing that means we're closing. However I was there prior to four even though it's five minutes prior till four and so I told her she didn't have to worry about that anymore I'll go back to shopping at Kroger's where they appreciate my business so I left and a gentleman just pulled up frantically he was from the hospital which is right next to this place, she said you're not allowed to come in and he said can I just buy one loaf of bread to take home and she shook her head no and he says come on just one loaf and she just pulled the door shut and locked it on him and if they don't appreciate our business anymore than that I'm sorry that they may have to work 10 minutes over to ring people up but either they want business or they don't and it's just pure rudeness if they were at least pleasant about it it may not come across so poorly but they're not even pleasant about it they're extremely rude and I won't shop there again I don't care if I'm saving 250 a load for five dollars for two loaves of the good seed bread it's not worth their attitude to ruin the end of my day acting that way . I own daylight donut business and I've had people walk in at 11 o'clock when I clean the place swept the tables are clean everything is put away and have to cook a full menu breakfast and still serve them with a smile and happy to do so because their business is what makes my business a good business and if it wasn't for the public we wouldn't have a business so I am absolutely happy to sit there till noon and change my lunch plans with family members to accommodate these people who think very highly of our business and then I have to go out and clean the floor and sweep again and wash dishes again but that's what we're therefore is to serve the public and if you're not happy to serve the public you don't need to be in a public position you need to be in the back stocking shelves
Wonderful service!
