Ordered take out for lunch. I ordered the “Flipside Nachos” for $13 with tater tots and instead of chili I got the shredded chicken which was an extra $5. I arrived to pick up my food and when I went to pay, I noticed there was a “To Go” Surcharge. I didn’t mind as it was only $1.61. However, the server running my card then stated there was an automatic 20% tip added to the bill unless I decided to change it. My receipt had the options of 18%, 20% and 25%. I kept the 20%. I have never been told there was an automatic tip on take out. Usually it’s you can leave a tip to help staff if you would like. 20% automatic tip for me to walk in and grab a bag of nachos to go? I got back to work and opened my nachos to find an incredibly small portion of food (see photo with my hand for reference. I wish I counted the individual tots). No way is the portion I received worth $18. I’m unsure if the portion is larger if you eat in, but I was still hungry after eating the incredibly small portion given. I want to also add that the food was mediocre. I have had better tater tot nachos elsewhere. The grand total for my tiny nachos with the “To Go” surcharge and automatic tip was $24.68. I would have had no problem with this total if the portion equaled what I paid for it. I have learned my lesson to not get take out from this restaurant. Great location! Parking a bit challenging. Loved the atmosphere - they happen to be having trivia night. Great outdoor seating if you like to be outdoors. Crab Rangoon’s appetizer was fantastic! A little disappointed with burgers they were just ok, however great menu and would go back to try other options. A little bit pricey for the type of food offered. I enjoy the atmosphere of the one in Milford, and it is in a great location. The burgers at flipside just taste like cheap sirloin. They pile so much on their burgers to hide from the low quality of meat. Its a nice place to go for a snack and some drinks, but there are way better places to get a burger. Overall a good experience. First time here so actually thought prior to going in they only serve burgers. Definitely not the case, pretty big variety of meals. We got the meatloaf, nachos w pulled pork, and kids hotdog meal. Prices were reasonable, food was very tasty. Atmosphere was pretty cool, in the warmer days I can tell it's nice to sit on the big patio deck and enjoy the firepits. There is a bar there too, since there was a half hour wait I sat there to grab a drink, here there was opportunity. Service was very slow, bartender not very friendly, and drink variety was a bit lacking. Cocktail options were either something very sugary (margaritas, adult milkshakes etc) or some coffee like drinks. Would have liked to see a few options with bourbon or rum. Guess more manly drinks. Going back, the waitress was at table was very friendly but again very slow to take order. Sure call it just a busy if you will but it was very noticeable. Overall easy fixes and will definitely come back to see if changes. Overall a decent experience. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Huge selection of burgers including build your own. The Coconut Shrimp was a portion of four crispy shrimp and well seasoned. Nice presentation and served piping hot. The burger was a generous 6oz with an option for 10 oz. Fries were a mix of hot crunchy and somewhat luke warm. Very large selection of unique and creative cocktails, wines and beers. Plenty of seating options with booths, high tops, patio and bar. The service in the bar was fast and friendly. The acoustics loud especially when they are busy and utensils, glasses and bottles are being hurled in to bins and sinks. The patio seating in summer has tables with and without umbrellas and shade. Had burgers for take out so can't say much about the place itself. But the Virgin Mary Burger was delicious, a little heavy on the horseradish but I really liked it. I had heard that this place is very good so decided rather than going to another place we know in the area that we would try it. The parking was a nightmare. There were a lot of options, I went with a burger. Either the patty had been frozen or was a very processed. The bun was not good. The shrimp sandwich didn't have any type of flavor or taste. Then there was the "sangria". This was basically a Shirley Temple and very sweet. We did not drink it and it was extremely expensive. The waiter tried to convince us it was what we ordered. I really enjoyed my first time visiting Flipside. The burger was so perfectly cooked, not greasy at all, but full of flavor. The meat was fresh, lean, and juicy. I enjoyed the fries as they were served in a great portion. So many gourmet burger places only give a handful of fries. I must note that the veggies were super crisp and fresh tasting. I enjoyed the atmosphere and personable service. This was a great visit.
