Came to watch the sunset on Happy Beach. Was pleasantly surprised to see a seared tuna salad on the menu. Bonus: the potatoes on the salad were also warm and delicious. Nice contrast of hot & cold in a salad makes it more interesting. The salad was really good and the sushi grade tuna was seared to "rare+" perfection. Fantastic little restaurant on the beach. Nice food, good value and helpful staff. Only thing I didn’t like is that like a lot of places of Koh Phangan it seems you can just smoke weed anywhere now. People trying to enjoy some food and as non smokers it’s off putting. Some guy just casually sitting up at the bar area smoking more than one joint. Other than that the place was beautiful. The people make this place - the kindest, friendliest team you will find on Koh Phangan. A great place to see the sunset and generally enjoy the beauty of Thailand. Every meal we had was super tasty and the vibe was very chilled. Quite possibly my favourite place in the world. Grab a bean bag, have an ice cappuccino, swim, sun bathe and before you know it you will be welcoming the sunset with a nice joint!!! Nice food, great location, poor service - took over an hour and a half for food to arrive and this was after asking where it was. They were taking orders at the bar as well as table service so they need to organise their system better as others who ordered at the bar had their food served long before ours. I'm vegan. I ordered coffee with soy milk. When the coffee arrived I felt it was cow's milk. They let me look at the soy milk to prove to me that it is not cow's milk, and in the ingredients it says that it also has cow's milk. I asked to return the coffee or alternatively get something else instead, and they did not agree. The service is appalling. I don't recommend vegans to go near there and in general the attitude and the place is not good. The perfect beach bar. Relaxed sophistication so in tune with the beaches around. Antoine, the French owner is an interesting guy to chat with and the staff is super friendly. And far above average food, they also have a tasty little breakfast.

Amazing place on the beach, smiling service. If you do not find Thai food on the menu, they cooked me a oanang curry on demand. 😊
