I stopped in about 2:00 pm. Cashier had his arm resting on the wall while taking our order. He never asked us anything. He rang up the purchase without ever engaging us in any questions or suggestions. Upon receiving out food, which was great, we had out choice of 11 unwashed, sticky tables. Every table was available and dirty/sticky. I used many napkins to keep front touching the tables. Food was great. Atmosphere and cashier were a huge disappointment. My wife and I went in to Firehouse subs and were extremely disappointed. The young man who was behind the counter looked sad and didn't say one word to us. He was finishing an order for a pick up. After he went into the back and out came another guy who didn't look professional at all. He was talking on his cell phone and looking out at a car parked in front. He barely gave us the time of day. When he took our order he didn't give us our drink cups. We had to grab them ourselves. We ordered 2 large Italian sub combos. We ended up grabbing medium cups. While we were waiting for the young man to make our subs in came two women and a young boy. One woman went behind the counter into the back. Then she and the man who took our order were scolding the young man and pointing at us. We were the only customers in the store at the time. Then the 2nd woman with the young boy went into the back and the child was running around in the kitchen and back room. Neither woman spoke any english. Then we asked the young man who made our order for another lid for our drinks,. He took quite a while looking for the cups and nobody helped him. He came out looking afraid we were upset with him. We are upset about the situation and how unprofessional all of this was. We are not upset with the young man who made our food. He seemed kind. We were given a gift card from a friend because I am recovering from Knee surgery. It's quite dissappointing to see this gift card go to waste. Went in there at at 12:30 in the afternoon and there were three groups ahead of us waiting for their sandwiches. We ordered ours and sat down to wait. I took 20 MINUTES to get a friggin sub sandwich. It was not like there were big groups - two groups of three and one group of one. When people came in behind us I almost yelled to them to turn and go away unless they had the entire afternoon to wait. I have NO CLUE what took so long to make our sandwiches. And, to me, the worst part, is they did not even apologize for the wait when they gave them to us. The other interesting thing was that while I waited I looked up how much went back to first responders as I had nothing else to do and it is like .12%. So, on my $28 order they gave back 3.3 cents. But they did get me to donate a $1 of my own money. Great marketing scam as well. But, the food was good once it came.

Used to like this place, but I ordered a meatball sub with extra cheese, and got absolutely no cheese???? Like they didn’t even do the order correctly. There should have been cheese in the first place and absolutely none. Very upset and disappointed. Payed for double and didn’t even get cheese in the first place. Ordered pickup on DoorDash. The incorrect bun was used which was an additional charge for “Everything Bun”, missing sautéed onions, missing sautéed mushrooms which was also an extra charge, missing the pickle completely. The salad was to be a plain “side” and has chopped meat, and NO salad dressing!! Of my experience you NEED to check before you leave THIS store, only 1 out of 5 orders seems to be 100% correct. At least I got some credits back from DD.

10.17.23 ordered a smoke house beef brisket with only bbq sauce, that somehow turned into a turkey bacon ranch with no ranch bacon mayo tomatoes or onion but add bbq sauce and yellow cheddar. 0 effort to reconcile situation. Didn’t notice till I got home, not trying to make that drive back in the traffic right now. 3:20ish pm Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We ordered 7 subs, 6 of them were wrong/missing several items. A grilled cheese that was both cold and burnt, how do you screw up a grilled cheese that badly? We tried to call them to complain about the messed up order, but they aren't even answering the phone. We will not make the mistake of ordering from the Bloomington Firehouse Subs again. If I could give negative stars in this review, I would.

Visited Firehouse Subs in Bloomington for the first time today and the gentleman who rang me up was very excited to hear the news and gave me a rundown of their process. Very friendly staff, excellent food, and I love that they support our first responders with every purchase. Make sure to check this place out if you’re in the area!

Ordered off DD and requested items be left off my sub. This was not followed and the sub had everything on it. I then ordered a different day thinking it wouldn't happen again but it did. I would only order from here in person as they do not follow requests on Doordash. Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
