This evening was a huge success. DeLora and her staff are wonderful to work with. Everyone had a great time. We so appreciate the support that Famous Dave’s provide to us to raise funds for Dream Big Denver Foundation. Our Mission includes closing gaps in services and support for Children with severe disabilities and their families. This restaurant ROCKS!!! DeLora is a gem! Ok new to Colorado and went to Famous Dave's for dinner. Now I ordered the Texas brisket that was $18.50 which wasn't bad for the price. Now when I got the brisket that I ordered it was served on a slice of white bread and the brisket slices was on the top of the slice with BBQ sauce on the top. Now I didn't know that it was served that way so when I received the order I wanted the brisket with out the BBQ sauce on it. The waitress Tiana, acknowledged the situation and she took the order back with no issues and when she returned the order I got another slice of white bread with 4 pieces of brisket now mind you the first time it was delivered to my table I had like 8 pieces of brisket on the slice of bread. When I let the waitress know that she acknowledged and brought it with 2 extra pieces with the same original 4 pieces on it. So I took the order didn't complain anymore. So after I ate got the bill and they charged me 18.50 then added 4 more dollars on top of that. So she was able to remove the 4 dollars off but because of all the foolery I will not be going back. 2023 December, party of two. There was ample parking available. We were seated immediately, even without a reservation. The service was good this time. Our server was attentive (though I regret that I have forgotten his name). I have increased my review to four stars because of the excellent service we received. Bon appétit! 😋 _______________________ 2022-06, party of 5, with reservations at 6pm. We got seated right away. Our waitress introduced herself, but no one in our table could hear her soft voice. Our drinks order was taken right away as well. From there, everything didn't go very well. Our drinks came. It took a while for our server to come back so we can order an appetizer. She then came back after about 15 minutes from the time we ordered our appetizers to get our main orders. After another 15 or so minutes, our appetizers came. We asked for soda refills and a pina colada. She came back after another 15 minutes to let us know that our order would soon come, but she didn't remember our sodas and the pina colada. We reminded her again. 10 minutes later, sodas came. No pina colada, so I said, just cancel the pina colada. She left and in 5 minutes served me my pina colada. I said again, that I canceled the pina colada. she took it away. Our dinner came around 7:10pm. We asked for soda refills. She forgot again and had to be reminded again. Our bill came, and she didn't take out the pina colada. She took it out after being reminded again. The food was good, but we were also starving. The service could definitely be improved. _______________ 2022-01, party of 6, with reservations. We arrived on a Friday night. Lots of parking. Mask was enforced when u come in, but not when you are in your table. The facility was clean. We have a reservation and were seated right away. Our drink order was taken and served promptly. We ordered 2 appetizers, 4 adult meals, and 2 kids' meals. The food was all great. My birthday boy was given an ice cream for free. Service was good. Our total was about $120. You'll be coming back if you like great barbecue, good and considerate service, a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and memories of time and money well spent. This particular Famous Dave's is one of the best arguments for well-run franchises there is. The menu is still excellent despite modern difficulties of price and supply. The dining area and restaurant itself is homey and soothing. The restrooms are immaculate, the bar is civilized and comfortable, and the manager genuinely cares if you've had a good meal--and if you haven't. she'll find out how and why and personally, successfully take effective measures to fix it. I've had many happy birthday dinners at this particular location, and each time we all know that we picked the right place, the right food, and the right people to entrust with a special occasion. Visiting Famous Dave's was a saucy adventure! Trey, our waiter, brought the flavor to the table with impeccable service, and Delaura, the manager, orchestrated the BBQ symphony like a true pitmaster. The experience was so good; I almost asked for their secret sauce recipe. If you want a meal that leaves you as satisfied as a perfectly smoked rib, Trey and Delaura have your back! Last week my mother went to famous Dave's in she slice beef brisket, chicken and ribs. The ribs taste old like they had been dried, the chicken tastes dry. My mother paid way too much money for food that didn't taste good. We're from Kansas City and we know what a good barbecue is supposed to like and this was not good at all. 0/10 would never recommend returning. Freddy and Delora are very unprofessional. I called into advise them of the poor food quality. Instead of advising us that they would take care of it, they put the cook "Freddy" on the phone who told us that he has never messed up food and how he is offended. We weren't looking to argue back and forth but to rather find a resolution. Freddy and Delora had other plans. Hopefully the calls are recorded so they can be trained on how to handle escalations. Stopped by on a Friday around 1pm. Not very crowded, lots of open tables. Not sure what was going on but we stood at the front reception area for over 5min+ and NOT a single person talked to us, said we'll be right with....or anything. The bartender made eye contact but said nothing. A server also made eye contact, said nothing. We left after 8mins of standing around. If you are looking for bbq and a place that has decent (any) service......go somewhere else, this place is awful. I get take out/pick up, from Dave's regularly. It's a bit pricy but the quality is there! Recently with food costs I've been horribly disappointed with most places but Famous Dave's keeps with value AND quality. The service is good the people are great and I'm happy to spend my money here AND tip even with take out. Thank you Famous Dave's for keeping quality and value together!
