We have loved Essence Indian! We regularly get the chicken or lamb tikka masala, lamb korma, naan and samosa chaat and they are delicious! My only wish is that they would deliver/partner with a delivery service as we typically get it to go. Everything we’ve tried is tasty. *Review update* We dined in the restaurant for the first time and we enjoyed it. They provided refills on rice (not something you can get at home), and we loved how things were served in the metal bowls and nice plates. With my limited experience, I believe this is a very authentic Indian restaurant. The flavor spices are on point with everything. I'm not from the area but I come back whenever I'm in town. I think the gentleman at the front was quite unhelpful. Despite our request for a window table, he flatly declined, even though he could have handled it in a more courteous and friendly manner. We were caught off guard by this and it significantly tainted our experience, which is regrettable. And top it all we found hair on one of our dishes.
