Not very friendly and welcoming when entered this cafe. Staff not smiling...but polite. Food was below average... chips werent very golden, poached eggs on toast also not very appetizing. Coffee was good. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Tried it, loved it. Fantastic service, vibrant atmosphere, great food, ticked all the boxes. Went for breakfast, and had a good selection to choose from, they were kind enough to offer GF swaps on the French Toast and the Big Breakfast. Great quality ingredients, quick turn around, and busy but not crammed, so clearly the locals know to come here. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

Good service. Only had a coffee and muffin on our visit. Good coffee. Had a cranberry and white choc muffin, which was good quality and fresh. The service is beyond bad. Someone in my group ordered the same food as I did and he got his food first. But he was not happy with the bacon as it was too burnt, so he rejected it. 30 seconds later the waitress brought over the same plate in front of me and said "do you just wanna take this while we making another one for him" - yes, the one he just returned! Before I even answered she already put the food on the table and left. I mean hey, I just watched the whole plate rejected right in front of me! I was feeling uncomfortable about this and people at my table were all saying they shouldn't do this. So I took the plate to the counter and said I don't want this either. That women looked so angry and the moment I turned around, I heard the other waitress busted out laughing, like I just did something unreasonable... When I got back to my table everyone said they looked so rude and they all felt sorry for me lol So here you go. My 1 star. I wish I could give a negative score. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Not welcoming and very rude staff. Sorry but not coming back. The food was not great. It’s very busy at Lunch time and staff not very attentive to customers. One of the waitresses slam my drink I front of me and walked away. Didn’t apologise. Me and my family waited an hour to get our food. Terrible to place to go. Warm in winter. I stopped in for coffee with friends and the tables are a good size for meeting with a small group. The decor is understated, cozy and classy, and the service is prompt and very friendly. The front smoke-stop door is great for keeping the weather out, but is very heavy which causes some problems for folk in wheelchairs or those with mobility challenges. I found it well worth the visit because the coffee was lovely, and I stayed for quite a while rather than braving the weather!

A pretty busy cafe. Love the coffee and the brunch. The French Toast is wonderful. The Salmon with crispy potato is yummy but the serving size is pretty small.
