Wonderful, authentic Mexican food. I had the ground beef burrito with red sauce. It was excellent! Loved the mango margarita. It is not short on alcohol. Wonderful salsas and chips. The food is delicious. I enjoyed the delicious vegetable burrito with rice and beans. The chips and salsa were also very good. We would definitely return our next time in the area. It's all about who waits on you when you come in that makes the experience worth it I suppose. But for me and my family, I would say 80% of the time we have some of the best. But aside frome that, they make some of the best drinks (if you like them strong) and food is great as well as long as you're willing to pay a little more than other restaurants in the immediate area. Walked in and at first I questioned whether I was in the right place or not because you can't see the decor from the entry way, but once you turn the corner it pops. Each chair is painted with different scenery or animals and the booths are good size with a larger table area and space between the table and bench seat. I raised an eyebrow at the price at first but when the food came out I realized that the price was very fair for the portions. They are huge! The taste was great. I ordered the carne asada and my wife got a combo burrito with chicken and pork. She made me taste hers before I got a chance to touch mine lol, and it was very good. Flavorful and not dry at all. After tasting hers, I got very nervous because I love asada, and hope my expectations weren't too high. They were not to high. The beef had the perfect balance of citrus, cilantro, garlic, onion, and spices without overwhelming the grilled steak flavor. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was due to the price of drinks. Let's just say I didn't think my margarita would be as spendy as it was. It was almost enough to deter repeat business, but the good was good enough I'll go back. I'll just order a soda from their Pepsi products. Side note, they don't have root beer, my wife made me include this as that was her only complaint lol. The staff was friendly, got seated right away since no one was in there. The food was good but, not for the price. Looking at the pictures I figured you would get more food then you did. I got a burrito and it didn’t even come with rice and beans and it costed over $19.00. My wife got a bean and cheese burrito and asked for cheese dip on top and it came with melted cheese. We had a tea and soft drink and are bill was over $38.00. I even had to ask each time I needed a refill on my tea.

Awesome as always. Have eaten at 3 other El Tapatio restaurants in the area, and the food here is just as good as the other stores. My favorite Mexican restaurant to goto.
