I was getting hungry for Empanadas and had to update my review on here! These are possibly the best empanadas on the face of this planet. Now you may be asking, what makes a perfect empanada? The perfectly balanced combination of seasoned meats inside a soft yet crispy outer shell that are about the size of a pineapple wedge. Each bite of an empanada at Sylvias is like a party for your tastebuds. The meat? Perfectly seasoned. The size? Perfectly filling. The amount of meat in each empanada? More than enough. The atmosphere? Like you stepped back in time to a place where the important on your calendar is chewing every bite 100 times to enjoy the mouthwatering sensation of an empanada at Sylvias. Stop what you’re doing and go! Make sure to bring cash with you, no cards! We usually get enough empanadas for lunch and dinner the next day.

Good alcapurrias. So good that you might like them even when they gone cold. Need to habe patience with the staff as they are a bit disorganized.

This is where the locals eat. It's not fancy but the food is really good and the virgin pina coladas are so refreshing.
