It seems to be the place where the locals eat. Good reasonably priced food. The chocolate cake was dry, like it had been left out for a couple days, try the corn cake instead. We’ve come here 4x and the meals never disappoint. This place is one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Oaxaca. Every time we order something different and it’s always delicious. Would highly recommend their homemade juices. Great food, great service, great price. Just remember they only take cash!

Food is delicious. I believe the success of this popular restaurant is consistency. I love that they have pulque. One of my favorite things to eat is the empanadas and the nata panqué (homemade cake). Service is very good. The menu is big, you will find several options for the whole family. It's a traditional Oaxacan food style that you could enjoy in a beautiful house. A restaurant preferred by the locals. Depending on the season, it can be mosquitos around you, and that's the only thing I dislike about this place. Very friendly, fast service. Paid $500 pesos incl tip for two large meat plates (mole and lamb) and a few excellent refreshing fruit waters. Completely filled us up and we hadn’t eaten anything all day. Clean interior and tables, we went 1pm Thursday and the whole town was very empty.

Absolutely great place with gorgeous menu. All food that we ordered was super delicious, portions were big. You should definitely try cocoa and coffe - it’s really good! No wifi.
