HUGE authentic tamales. Probably the best tamales I have had in a long time and the very best I have had in the Midwest. I am a native Texan and truck driver, I deliver in Minnesota twice a week and i know something about good Mexican food. Also they are very courteous and the place smells fan freaking tastic. This place is a gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The bread here is delicious, fresh and there's a wide variety of sweet treats. This bakery is very clean and customer service is great! It’s conveniently located in Bloomington, border with Richfield. I decided to pay a visit on a cold rainy day, it was the perfect day to do so. I had major sweet bread cravings and they were fulfilled. I grabbed a tray, selected conchas and salty bread. When I went to pay I noticed they also had Atole (a Mexican hot drink). I asked for a strawberry flavored Atole and OMG! It was perfect and hot. They sell a small selection of grocery products for your convenience and Mexican food as well, deli style. The tamales looked good, they were selling fast when I was there. The conchas are REALLY good here. I also purchased a bread that inside had cheese and jalapeños, this is one of my favorites and they NAILED IT. I got two of those and it's easy to prep breakfast, I stuff it with scrambled eggs and done-- got myself a breakfast sandwich! Prices are also very reasonable. Glad this area has a bakery like this! It has all you wished a bakery offered: tamales, atole, cakes, delicious pan dulce and great customer service!
I order food and a cake for a school event; they did not respect their word and charged us more, our event was waiting for the food so I did not have an option but to pay what the cashier was asking for. The communication between them is really bad, for this I ended up paying more. Their costumer service is very bad. I do not recommend them if you are buying food for a big event. They will lie to you to get your business. I am also not buying from them again. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I love all of their pastries, tres leches cakes, and tamales! I buy in bulk here for my employees and the prices are really good. Everyone always loves it! The staff here is really great, too. Very helpful and accommodating.

In a word, Delicious! They will provide you basic staples suchs as conchas and bolillo bread, but they will also change it up so if you're new to Mexican bakeries, you always find something new to discover. Plus their tamales are awesome!
What a great little shop! Huge selection of bakery items. Everything we had was delicious and the price is so reasonable. The service was excellent. Normally, if I needed baked goods I'd just go to Target or Cub, I would actually drive out of my way to go here. Don't let the mall atmosphere scare you off as this is a diamond. If you haven't been, do yourself a favour and check out this great small business.
