If you’re deciding to eat here then the answer is yes. Go right now! Service was great! Drinks were delicious! And the food was absolutely incredible. Atmosphere is great as well! I was dancing in my seat to the music. (Ok maybe the margarita helped me do that too). Five stars all the way. Highly recommended. Won’t go anywhere else for Mexican. I ate lunch there today and was very impressed with the quality and huge selection of food. Being a vegetarian, it is not always easy to find so many great choices. Although I didn’t get it this time, I really liked that breakfast could be gotten at lunch! Service was excellent and I would definitely recommend El Jalapeño to anyone wanting great Mexican food. First time visiting El Jalapeño. What a great place. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Lived the chips and salsa. Had a dish made with fresh Scallops and shrimp over Mexican rice with a side of lettuce and tomatoes and sour cream. Very tasty. My husband has shrimp tacos with fresh refried beans and rice. My food was very burnt. I had to set aside almost a quarter of my burrito because it was inedible. Queso oddly enough taste like one of those popcorn balls. Service was delightful from our bartender. I think his name was Mike? That might be wrong. However, I was sad to know they "denied" me an allergy free meal. I have a crustaceans allergy and they wouldn't cook separately or anything of the sort. My boyfriend said his tacos were good though. Love this place. Great food. Fast, friendly service. Large enough so servers are not bumping into you but cozy enough to feel at home. Pollo Cancun and Pollo Loco are my favorites. Chimichanga is a close 2nd. Highly recommended if you are in the Knightsville area and want great Mexican food. We always really enjoy the food here but they seem to seat more people than they can handle. The most recent visit we found ourselves waiting for about 15 minutes before our table was even approached by the wait staff. We actually had to go ask someone if we could been seen. This seems to be the norm recently. But the food is still really constantly good TexMex.
