Came here by request from my daughter. I've never heard of the place before now. I ordered the El Pastor mini tacos. They were full of flavor. I've never reviewed rice before because it's just rice, but this rice was very good. This is down the road from one of our favorite places. This will definitely be on the list from now on. I also had a Cadillac Margarita. It was good, not great. The drinks would be my only less than great review. Brush up on those, and you will pack the people in. The atmosphere was great. I would definitely return. The pic of the pastor tacos is missing one. I was hungry! 😁 Give them a shot. I've been here before and LOVED it. This time around, the enchiladas were bland. Not nasty but didn't really taste like anything. The salsa is delicious still! I will go back and try it again to see if it was just a fluke. Waitress was nice and punctual. She got all the order correct. The atmosphere was nice, the restroom was clean, but that’s the best they have to offer. They must be putting their own reviews on here to make them seem good. I ordered the beef and chicken fajitas with shrimp,grilled onions and mushrooms with melted cheese. It was awesome, the rice was a little plain but the charro beans had bacon in it . Worst $ 29.19 I've spent on breakfast. The breakfast tacos were dry, tasteless and the egg was overcooked. The flour tortilla was not homemade and had not flavor. The menudo lacked seasoning, the broth did not taste like your traditional menudo and the beef tripe was chewy and undercooked. The only reason for the 2 star and not 1 star is because of the good customer service at the front counter, but that's not enough to come back again.

My family loves to eat at El Centinela. The people are really nice, good and attentive service. They have good tea. The food is excellent. We love the fajitas, combo plates, and nachos. The chips and red sauce are so good! The margaritas are great!

We were just passing through and this was the closest place open for breakfast, but it was fantastic! Quick and friendly service.
