We stopped here for a quick late breakfast on our last day in Fajardo— the food was great, coffee was great, prices very reasonable, and we didn’t experience any of the “rude” service issues other reviews mentioned. They had quite a few hot lunch options to-go as well that looked tasty and many people in work uniforms were stopping in for. Wish we would have stopped in sooner in the week, we would have gone every day! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food was pretty good. The cheesecake was good, but the cream filled pastry was hollow with no filling. We did not discover our problems until later since we took our food to go. We were overcharged by 2 dollars for a dessert that was clearly 4 dollars on the menu. The unfriendly cashier must have pocketed the extra since she provided no receipt. We heard her tell two different customers two different prices for the same item. Be careful of deceitful practices, here. Food: 1 Atmosphere: 2
3rd time at this place, today I had lunch for the 1st time. Went in looking for sushi as advertised, but got a tasty and fresh lasagna instead stuffed with ground beef, ricotta, and cheddar cheese inside, with melted mozzarella cheese on the outside; complimented by fried plantains for $13 dollars. The bakery is very clean and of modern design with the classic amenities expected from a bakery that offers breakfast and lunch. Pastries are diverse and beautifully decorated. Fresh ingredients are key to fabulous food and pastries confection at this bakery. On the other hand I was disappointed with customer service. The 1st time, unlike today, I felt welcomed. Local customers support local businesses throughout the year, and attention to customer service is imperative for business growth. As a Google guide interested in promoting our local businesses, for the 1st time I identified as one and asked permission to take photos of the pastries and the food to be respectful, but was told in a unfriendly way that the photos and menu were already posted, only to find that photos were 26 days old; so I didn't take any photos as for my visit today. Today, the cashier was too busy looking at TV while I was asking for lunch, and the 2nd visit cashier was too busy talking to another person while I'm finalizing a purchase. Food , pastries, and coffee are really good. I'm sure they can improve customer service.

Location is somewhat hidden in a small shopping mall. Outdoor seating is available, but the mosquitoes will soon drive you indoors. The food is quite delicious, so the establishment is frequented by tourists & residents alike. Day cruise busses make this business very busy in the morning. The service is so-so, but they are eager to quickly get the job done. The bakery goods are excellent, including the varied flans, quava pastries, donuts and cakes. Don't miss La Ancla if you are in Fajardo. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Coconut Flan

Is rare that I genuine like someone else’s cake. However I must say I loved the cake prepared by El Ancla Bakery. The owner has a hand for desserts and the cake typical of Puerto Rico. The cake was perfect in texture truly perfect. And it was not super sweet or soaked in a overly flavored syrup. It was spongy, soft and with very delicate and fine crumb. Recommended. Plus the prices are very affordable. If you want to know what I am talking about they also sell pieces of the cake. You can try what is a very good genuine Puertorrican cake at El ancla.

Breakfast was delicious and similar to what we would normally find in the States, but of better quality and for reasonable prices. There’s a good variety of choices, savory and sweet. I can recommend the super breakfast plate, the flan, cortados, and lattes. I thought the service was good and speedy as well. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Atmosphere: 5

The person that takes the order with white glasses does not listen, is rude and she gets the order wrong. Good place , good food but bad service. Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
Best Breakfast in Fajardo. Coffee is like Starbucks. Very clean and great service
Bad service, ladies were rude, plus food took a long time, about 20 min. The buzzer thingy never worked so when food was ready we never knew so it was sitting there for a while. Food was ok, is just the customer service that could improve. My family was disappointed and I am too. A bad review is a door opener for continuous improvement, this is why I will only give 1 star.

Very good breakfast food. The potatoes and eggs were especially great. Service was fast and the business was clean with plenty of seating. We regret that we were only able to eat here once during our visit to Fajardo.
