Either you travel with business or you're a tourist in town, don't miss the local specialty called "Edirne çiğer" or "tava ciğer". It is veal liver sliced very thin, deep fried, tender and crispy "chips". It comes along with fresh salad and fried chilly peppers. This dish gained the Guinness Book recognition and the big pot used for the record achievement is displayed in town. Kemal Usta is the best place to try this delicacy. Friendly and quick service, very tasty food. Pleasant cold temperature inside, nice big table under a tent outside. The main dish Liver Edirne style is absolutely tasty, excellent. The home-made thick yoghurt is very refreshing. Big salads. Out of the many "liver" places around, the locals recommend this one as the most masterful preparation by Kemal Usta. Location is right at the middle exit of the big covered market.

We visit this restaurant for Edirne's famous dish ciger (fried lamp liver). Due to hot early spring day we sit outside. We ordered the "specialité" and kebap. The service was speedy. Our food delicious. The ciger was crispy, the kebap was roasted, to be juicy enough. We ordered the same dishes one more time. I have to say that the prices were below than cheap. The staff even though no one speaks english they understand what you really want from a gesture. The catalogue has also photos of the dishes.
Clean and friendly service. Her lungs are delicious.
