The best Chinese food! The cream cheese wontons melt in your mouth. The egg rolls are super crisp. The sweet and sour sauce is perfect. The food is always so fresh and high quality. The waitstaff is attentive and make you feel welcome. Take out seems to be very popular and they have a robot that carries take out orders from the kitchen to the front which is fun to watch. I live in another state and always come here when I visit my mom. It is just the best of the best! The food is great. Very fresh. The only thing that annoys me is you can’t get the sauces on the side; I guess they make them fresh with each dish which is cool but can I just get it on the side. Not the end of the world just bad for my blood sugar but I keep going there. The food is yummy and rather basic, but that's kind of what I want for a Chinese restaurant. The servers take excellent care of the patrons and I see regulars any time I've gone. One of their regulars turned me onto this place, so anytime I have a hankering for comforting Chinese food, I make the trip to the east cafe. East Cafe is on the short list of places that we thoroughly enjoy and keep going back to. After being a loyal customer for many years, I ordered a to go order and when I got home I noticed that they forgot our wontons so called and spoke to a female manager. She was very rude and acted as if I was lying about it. They wanted me to return with my whole order and had no solution for their carelessness. Very disappointed in this business and wouldn’t recommend any to go here because they think they are entitled to serving our community with poor customer service. Ordered for the first time last night. Was terribly band. Hot and sour soup tasted like dish water and had no spice, they obviously don't season anything so all flavors are on top and all meats tasted as if boiled in water. Yuck! I have been going to this restaurant for most of my life and I can easily say this is the best Chinese food in Colorado. I drive an hour and a half just to eat here. Every dish is unique and flavorful and made with quality ingredients. My favorite is the hurricane but unlike most Chinese food restaurants I would taste anything on the menu here. The service is always good but if you want truly outstanding service I would recommend asking for Steven. This man is amazing at his job! I was disappointed at how little food I got for how much I paid on my Combo Hurricane. I will say 4 stars on taste, it was a good dish. General Tso’s was just BAD. I’m from Chicago and I’ve had delicious General Tso’s in China Town, so I guess I expect a lot. Better texture, quality, and taste even when getting it as takeout, it’s crispness is preserved. It was our first time here, felt like giving it a shot. We spent $47, and liked half a dish, so I doubt we’ll go back. Sticking to our usual go to places.
