If you want to taste Italian cuisine, take your chance and come to this restaurant. Many people visit Del Forno to try perfectly cooked mexican pizza, pasta and steaks. Food delivery is an important advantage of this place. Most visitors find the staff appealing. If you want to enjoy enjoyable service, you should go to this spot. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are low. Clients appreciate the pleasant atmosphere at this restaurant, they want to come here again and again. 4.2 is what Del Forno got from the Google rating system.
I loved it.. the pizza was perfect.. it was the level of spicey that I had anticipated.. The Mexicana is what they call it.. Great restaurant for some tranquility.. I also had some fries which were also just as tasty, just the crunch to every bite.. !! Our waiter was also really helpful with a smile.

Very spacious, lovely decor, vibey atmosphere with very friendly staff. Pastas were plentiful and cheesy. Chicken lasgne was too liquidy/watery. Alfredo with penne cooked adente with musheooms and a light creamy sauce was awesome.

We regularly support Del Forno, Meyersdal. More so for Date night on Wednesdays.
On Monday, 7th August 2023 we decided to go for Supper to Del Forno, Meyersdal. The usual waiter welcomed us and we were told that we could choose where we wanted to be seated.
We decided to opt for the 4 seater table, nearest to the reception kiosk.
A waitress brought us menus and asked us if we wanted to drink anything. I requested 2 sparkling waters. She brought them, together with 2 soaking wet wine glasses with a slice of lemon each.
I inquired why the glasses were wet and if they were fetched from the dishwasher. Being frank, I detest a wet, dripping wine glass, be it for water or wine.
I fail to see why kitchen staff can't dry a glass, before giving it to a patron. I won't do it to my guests when they visit our home & expect the same standard at a Restaurant. I opted to drink the sparkling water from the bottle.
I inquired if we can order Glühwein and was informed that the waitress needed to check. She didn't return to inform us that there was none.
On inquiring what we wanted to order for a meal, I asked about the Glühwein, to which I got the reply that she forgot. There isn't any.
We settled on ordering the House wine. The waitress did use the initiative to bring ice, but I soon realized the reason. The bottle was very warm to the touch.
I honestly found the waitress Pamela rushed and distant. Asif, she didn't feel like doing her job properly that day, or she had other issues on her mind. I'm stating this, as she stood a table away to pour our wine and just plonked it across the table on my left hand side. Not once did she offer to refill our wine glasses.
I actually inquired if she was new, as she was totally involved chatting to other waiters at the kiosk, even holding hands with 1 behind the counter. This all going on, whilst the Manager was watching videos on his cellphone, standing at the counter.
We ordered 2 Feta Prego Fillets. Both medium rare.
Huge was my disappointment when I cut my steak, to find that it was more medium to well. My husband's steak was perfect.
During our time eating, the waitress nor the Manager inquired about our food. When we were finished with the meal, the waitress asked about the food, whilst clearing our plates.
I informed her that had she shown interest in our table whilst we were dining there, I would've informed her that my filled steak wasn't as I ordered. She replied she's sorry.
I asked for the bill, which never came. I asked for the bill again.
My husband opted to pay a 5% tip & explained to the waitress that nor my steak or her service was up to scratch.
The Manager then came to stand next to our table, without actually saying much, except asking if he could offer me a glass of wine. I refrained, as my husband explained, we were there to enjoy the filled steak, a favorite on the menu known to us, which we've ordered many times previously.
I encourage the owner to check CCTV footage of the evening and the service rendered by waiters and specifically our waitress to confirm the above statements made. To top it all, the Restaurant wasn't busy.

I always enjoy my visit, the hazelnut latte is my favourite 🤞🏼. The food portions are fair.
The mince portion in the mince bowl must definitely increase,that's way too little. Other than that I like the place

As someone who frequently goes to Del Fornos, this was absolutely shocking. Been to this branch on two separate occasions and I've gotten plastic in my food both times. First time, it was in the lasagne and the second it was in the pizza i ordered. Took this up the second time with their manager and he gave us pathetic reasons (which didn't make sense) as to why I found MULTIPLE LARGE pieces of plastic in my pizza. Surprised as to how this branch is still open considering the poor management as well as their health breaches. No apology or anything, just a bad attitude from the servers and manager. Absolutely pathetic service, would not go here again or recommend.

The manager at this restaurant does not know how to speak to his guests making all the excuses under the sun about what was wrong with the service we received.
It didn't look like he was able to run the restaurant never mind the way he spoke to his staff
As for the lady that served us well done, that is how you serve your customers and there was no need for you to apologise for the bad manners of your manager
