Super gezellig restaurant in the center of Barneveld. It is recommended to book in advance, but if you're lucky, you'll get a table. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The ambience is super nice, with decorations all over and gives a nice feeling. Food was very delicious, with good portions and it is enough to satisfy your appetite. Wow, maybe I have been living in Randstad for too long, I couldn't imagine one can still find such a fairly priced cafe/restaurant in the Netherlands, of course with sufficient portion of food. It's always a pleasure eating at the Hebberd. Reserved a spot here for dinner with 13 people, we arrived earlier than we expected so asked if it was possible to be seated early and our spot was already prepared for us. We were asked to pick from the large range of drinks quite quickly and they arrived quickly. We were given menus, which have a large range of choice in starters, main courses and desserts. Starters were served exceptionally quickly but the main course and dessert took a long while. All the food tasted great, as it always does. The service is kind and accommodates to specific requests. Altogether, other than the service taking a while (which I can understand with such a large group), I have nothing to say other than: this is a great place to have lunch, dinner or simply a drink. This was an amazing little place with a lot of customers, which always is a tell tale sign that the restaurant is doing something well. 😉 The service was, fast and on point. The food had an amazing price quality ratio. I would recommend visiting if you are in the neighborhood.
