Yummy pizzas, toasted sandwiches, fresh juices and coffee at this cafe with an incredible view of Dili below. Even at the weekends it is quiet and relaxing, with jazz music playing, and plenty of seating and a fair number of parks. There is also an informative memorial to the fighting in Timor during WW2

Great place to hang out. Fresh, clean, nice. Really good place for pictures. Kids love it. It's a 30min drive from Dili. Road is fully tar except 50 meters. Super winddy food. Lovely for a family trip. Pizza 5-10$ Sandwich 3$ Chips 2/4$ Drinks 50¢-3.50$
Nice cafe with a lovely view, surely worth the 20-30 minutes drive up. Cafe had an upgrade in 2021. I usually come here on weekend days after walks around Dare (the cafe can also help arrange a guide i.e. to Tuda Tiris waterfall) Cafe has good coffee and fresh juice as well as sandwiches. Dare is also a great place to buy plants along the road

What a spectacular place to have dinner, the drive from Dili was an adventure in its self, once you get there the food is delicious, we had the house special pizza, I would say the best in Timor-Leste so far, and the view is the best view of Dili by far and the staff were fantastic, they also knew a little English, is a must if you are in Dili.
Located at hill top beside Rua de Junho. A nice cafe to have a Jug of Timor Leste coffee and enjoy the beautiful aerial view of Dili. The memorial cafe showcase history of East Timor, you will get to know more about the country while grooving in cafe. Not many choice in the menu and limited table, visitors please take note.
Popped in here as part of a drive around Dili tour. The view and coffee here was spectacular. Highly recommend
Its a nature place with incredible views. We could see Dili from above. Its so amazing.

Was expecting something maybe different but still nice to visit and honour, from the road verge with the flagpoles there are some steps to the right which take you down to the cafe which I was told is only open on weekends if at all.Quite a hair-raising drive up the hill as well.
The view was out of this world. If you are visiting Dili I recommend the trek up to this area to view the city and coast line as a whole. Totally worth it.

Great view and a well maintained information centre on Aussie and Timorese troops fighting the Japanese in WWII. Used to be a cafe here but I think this might be closed - still well worth the drive up the hill to the lookout as you get to see the different climate zone and get a great view from the lookout point. The lookout is 30 seconds from the road and under cover so great if it’s raining.
