Love DKs. Have come here for over 20 years. Moved away from CA and still come back whenever I'm in town. Apple Fritter is the best "donut shop" fritter I've had to-date. This is a picture of my 2day old one. Still great 😂

Long-standing community breakfast staple. I remember I'd go to this place in high school back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Back then, along with the now shunted Broadway Bagel, DKs was among the most popular breakfast places in the area aside from the ubiquitous McDonald's or Jack breakfast. I brought my wife here this morning, who originally hails from the East Coast, and has been craving a good breakfast sandwich/bagel. DK's certainly delivered, and she was happy with her selection. Oh my goodness, the apple fritter is without a shadow of a doubt, the best I have ever tasted. Friggin' outrageously large, super super fresh, amazing texture and perfectly made!!
